chapter 10

Addison pov
It was 4pm.. which meant i had an hour before i had to go and pick bryce up at sway. I think he'll really like his surprise.. well i hope so anyway.

I had explained the whole story to my mom, minus the me blacking out of course and she was very thankful for Bryce taking the heat for me.. she'd never been his biggest fan because of his past but she knew that he always treated me well, i think anyone could see that.

I told her my surprise for Bryce and she said what i was doing was really great. I got ready and went to grab my keys.. "Addison you haven't told me this" I wasn't sure what she was talking about "haven't told you what mom?" i said. "So after this date and you and Bryce getting back together or what" I'd never actually thought about it. Would Bryce even want me back after my antics with Noah? "Em i didn't actually think of that.. i guess we'll see how the date goes" she shook her head at me smiling "young people these days.. never know what they want" I laughed.

Bryces pov
I had been nervous for this all day, especially because i had no idea where i was going or what we were doing.. i was usually the one in charge for these types of things.

"Chill out bro, you've been on millions of dates with Addison" Blake said. He was right but i knew this was my last chance.. it had to be perfect.

I heard her pulling up into the driveway. "Your dates here Brycey" Josh said, mocking me. "Nah in all seriousness bro i hope it goes well, you deserve to be happy and i know she makes you smile" I hugged him "Thank you brother, that means a lot" Me and Josh loved eachother dearly but we never showed much emotion so it made me lowkey happy that he seemed to really care about my date with Addi.

Addison pov
Bryce walked out towards my car. He looked hot, he was wearing a oversized shirt, brown trousers with a belt and his airforces, he knew i loved it when he dressed up.

He sat down in the car.. not really knowing how to react. I didn't want to make it awkward so i broke the silence. "Bryce Hall in something other than shorts and a hoodie.. this is new" He laughed "Well i had to dress to impress for you didn't I" He said, making me blush.

Bryces pov
Wow she looked insane. I found myself getting caught up in her beautiful brown eyes and flawless smile. "Addison i'm speechless.. you look perfect" I did not just say perfect.. fuck Bryce that's too much. "Aww Bryce stop, you have no idea how happy that makes me but i'm far from perfect" Okay i was glad she took it well but she was perfect in every single way.

Addisons pov
I was taking Bryce to Malibu, he loved it here.. the beaches, the food just everything really. "Okay open your eyes" He opened his eyes and i saw his face light up. "Addison this is amazing, just like you" I was taking him to the restaurant where we met for the very first time.

"Crazy how two years ago in that very restaurant you were simping over me and here we are two years later and not much has changed" I laughed "Well your absolutely correct their miss easterling"

My phone started to ring "Bryce i have to take this call before we go in, i'll be two minutes you head in" He agreed and walked off into the restaurant.

"Okay great, we are just going into dinner now so we will be maybe an hour. See you soon" Yesss my after all of that stress my plan had worked.

(imma just skip to after dinner😅)

Bryces pov
Dinner was amazing but i felt as though Addison was rushing.. she didn't even eat a desert. She has now taken me down to the pier. I loved it being down by the water.. it reminded me of family holidays growing up.

We sat for a little while cuddling as we watched the sunset "Addison your amazing you know that" she looked up and smiled at me "Your surprise is only just arriving Brycey" It made me happy her calling me "Brycey", it was just like old times but how could she possibly make this date any better, everything was just perfect. 

I felt someone tap me "Hello sweetheart" I turned around to see my mom standing there was her arms open for a hug. I bounced up and immediately ran to her.

I started to tear up a little bit, i hadn't seen my mom in almost 6 months and i missed her so much everyday. "Mom i've missed you so much" I said and kissed her cheek  "I've missed you too darling " she said

Addisons pov
It was so amazing seeing how happy Bryce was to see Lisa.. he absolutely adored his mom and i was so happy that i could bring them together again.

"Well i'll go and leave you guys to catch up" I said "No not at all darling, i've missed you also" Lisa said giving me a big hug. "Your gonna come with us.. you make my boy so happy and for that i'll forever be thankful"

Had Bryce not told Lisa about our breakup? It sure didn't seem like it. The way Lisa was talking she was still under the impression that we were together but i didn't mind.. i thought it was kinda cute.

Bryces pov
I just can't believe Addison did this for me "Addison, thank you so much. You have no idea how much i appreciate you doing this" I said and i meant it.. seeing my mom again after so long was the best surprise i could of ever asked for.

"You deserve it" She said.. giving me a small peck on the lips. I immediately felt myself get butterflies.. wow this girl really had something over me.

"You make me wanna be a better man" I said to her and kissed her again.. this time a bit more of a passionate kiss. "Enough love birds it's getting late" I heard my mom say in the background. We laughed and headed back to the car.

I don't really know where i stood with Addison at the minute relationship wise but i knew i loved her with my whole heart and based on what she pulled off tonight i think she felt the same way.
