first day of summer

"oh come on hermione it won't be that bad" draco said with a pout. Hermione just looked at him pissed off.... Ever since her and draco became friends he always wanted her to meet his parents but she refused to because of her being a muggle-born and his parents didn't like them she was scared to.

When they got there dobby opened the door and said " hello Mr malfoy and Ms granger" hermione was happy to see him that was untill draco's mom and dad came downstairs to greet them. Hermione had a pit in her stomach but she pushed it down as dobby took the jackets. She felt neverous.

"How lovely to see you both" said mrs malfoy... " Thank you Mrs. malfoy for letting me stay here for the summer" hermione said "please dear call me narcissa" hermione just gave her a sweet smile... Then her face was filled with fear at the face to face contact with mr. malfoy " Ms granger welcome to our home" he said in a light voice "please call me Hermione and thank you Mr malfoy" she said in a smile shy voice in a response he said "please love, call me lucius" she just smiled and nodded.

"Draco why don't you show hermione her room" narcissa told him to do so but before they went upstairs lucius gave her a wink but she brushed it off as normal friendly behavior....hermione was so relaxed when she saw her room it was like the size of a small apartment and her bathroom was the size of a small living room she was in love with it " I knew you would like it" said draco smirking to himself as he watched her spin around in the space she had " I love it draco" she said with excitement...

Soon it was time for dinner so she didn't know what to expect from the malfoy's but she got into a light t-shirt and some black jeans and went to draco's room to see if he was ready ( which he was) then they made their way downstairs to the dinning room where his mom and dad were already she felt like she was going to scream and how beautiful it was.....when they sat down the food was served by the house elves she got her food and ate quietly before getting asked a question by narcissa " why did you not go with you parents this summer" she ask in a light sweet voice but to be honest I only told draco, harry, and Ron that my parents had died in the battle so it was a ring of surprise to me but I answered truthfully "umm actually my parents unfortunately died in the cattle last year so I stay with the weasley family" narcissa and lucius look shocked that she answered them in a full brave voice like she was going through nothing by life itself but at that moment narcissa gave her a pity look of sadness.
