Tate struggled out of the kennel, she winced as her legs drove her stumbling and falling, causing her to rattle her head in anger, she dizzily struggled, she shook the pulse away, struggling once more to hook her claws on the lustrous glass.

At least she could go this far, at least she lived in a safe place, but she had nothing to do but play with her own bed. Boredom was her worst enemy, her pink nose wrinkled as the scent of other creatures filled her nostrils.

After many attempts to climb out of the cage. She finally settled her paws on the soft, but wooly blanket, at an instant, the touch pressed her pads, and a purr rose from her throat.

She blinked slowly as she let her fur flatten, she looked down, eyes wide, she smelled of a female, with a somewhat oriental face, and long black fur,

"hey gravy girl, I heard you recently got spayed,"

She teased, Tate looked at her with a stern gaze.

"Well, yeah, I did get spayed, but I hate gravy!" She protested, her heart sunk at the thought of insulting the creamy goop, it reminded her of her mother. The female with short, but the softest fur that had several markings that caught her eye every time,

"Well, you don't like gravy, then how did you get all that fat?" She giggled, Tate's tail twitched in annoyance, her lip curled. Her face turned as pale as paper,

"I'm not fat!" She hissed, "And even if I was, I would still be beautiful!" Raven curled her lip as if to think.

"Hmm, well, okay, if you say so gravy girl, it's fun being next to you," She said, a smirk cracked her design. Tate angrily stared at her, she couldn't admit it, but she was beautiful. With shiny long black fur, and a long, thick, soft, bushy tail, and the brightest green eyes, she stared in happiness.

She hoped that she wouldn't notice her blushing,

"Well, I'm tired, and I'm going to sleep," She gaped her jaws, showing a row of white teeth, and a pink mouth,

"Okay, good night Raven," she said, she hoped that Raven would reply a somewhat nice sentence,

"Uh, good night gravy girl," She purred in satisfaction. Tate looked at her in dismay, then stirred her body to her bed, the printing said the word "Vikings" splotched everywhere, overall the color was a mixture of purple and blue, she settled on it, feeling the same warm touch as she did earlier.

Without any disturbance, she fluttered her eyes closed, feeling bold for standing up to herself from Raven, but guilty for blushing at the young girl,

I really hope she didn't notice I was blushing at that jerk.

"Tate, wake up, come on!" Tate opened her eyes, a ginger tabby tom nudged her gently from his cell, his long legs were perfectly long enough to touch her brown tabby fur, all night she was thinking about Raven, she hoped she wouldn't be insulted by her once again,

"Good morning Fireball," The orange boy only had three legs since his visit to the vet, she opened her mouth to a yawn,

"You broke a record for the loudest murmuring in the world!" He sarcastically said in laughter. Tate purred, trying to hold a burst of laughter,

"How did I murmur, loudly?" She chuckled, Fireball rolled his eyes,

"You ask a lot of questions youngster, super loud," He grunted.

Raven blinked open her eyes, eager to eat food, she yawned before speaking,

"Hi Fireball, how's my old limply?" She purred, Fireball's eyes narrowed,

"Hey, I don't like to talk about it, my other three legs are just fine," he protested, Raven glared at him, "I can talk however I want to," she said heavily,

"No you can't, the greatest gift is kindness," he hissed, "that's not a gift, saying for what you believe is a gift in my book!"

"You can't say that, why are you always calling me fowl names!" Tate panicked, her eyes fearful as they attempted to hurt each other!

Suddenly a larger human with curled blonde hair, broke the two's fight, lets break it up, come on, we're friends, the voice was gentle and sweet, almost urged Tate to doze off, the human picked up Raven by the scruff, her voice turned more stern, no!

Tate opened her eyes wide, Raven is really getting violent, she looked at the two cats, only lush fur with no cuts, she sighed in relief, she was glad the battle was over quickly, if she was angry enough,

she would've fought too.
