Chapter 48

Seokjin's Pov

"Jin!" I heard someone yelling my name in the crowd. A familiar voice that I deeply missed hearing. I squeezed and forced myself to leave the group of people.

"Jinnie!" I turned my head to the source of the voice. The voice was from a different person but the owner of that voice is someone who I also missed

As I walk through the crowd the voices kept growing louder indicating I was almost close.

"Jin!" Soobin said while grabbing my wrist. I look back to see soobin,taki and keith looking at me filled with worry.

"Jinnie we kept calling for you but you went the opposite direction from us. Is something wrong?"taki asked

I took a sigh of relief. Yeah!?there's no way they'd be here! They would never follow me somewhere so far

"What do you need soobinie?it's too early for us to leave! I'm having so much fun!!!"I yelled . This loud music is overpowering my voice so obviously I needed to speak louder

"Auntie called. She said she wanted to speak to you and it's VERY urgent"soobin said with a serious face and tone

It seems like its a serious matter based on soobin's expression so I hurriedly went to our table and rummaged through my things to search for my phone.

I dialed mother's number and went straight to the comfort rooms ignoring the voices that I still hear. They kept calling for my name but I ignored it. Yeah!I'm drunk and just hearing things

"Hello?Mother?is something the matter?soobin said you called and you wanted to talk to me as soon as possible"I asked

"Jinnie. I want you to go somewhere, please refrain from asking anymore questions. I will be sending a car to pick you up. It is up to you whether you want to bring soobin and your friends. I hope you do as I say"she replied

I was so surprised that she didn't greet me warmly. Whenever she called me she would always ask how I was or whether I've eaten but today she sounded so serious. What happened?

"Okay I'll do as you say"I replied

"Great. Be careful son!I love you"she said

"I love you too mother"I replied and quickly hung up. Why did say to be careful?I was starting to get anxious but I proceeded to look for the guys to inform them that we were going somewhere

Once I looked for them and explained what was happening they obediently followed me outside. When we arrived outside a car was already waiting for us

The driver came out and opened the door for us and we entered without hesitation.

As soon as we sat down mother called and I quickly answered . My mind was filled with questions and hoped mother could answer each and every question

"My love,I know you want to ask me millions of questions but I hope you listen carefully from what I'm about to say. Jin your father passed away"

Her words were flowing through my head. How could that be? He was perfectly healthy when I left! Tears came flowing out making the boys worry calming me down with their embrace and rubbing my back in circles.

Loud cries filled the back of the car as my mother patiently waited for me to calm down. After a few minutes of crying I finally calmed down

Once my mother stopped hearing cries from the other line she proceeded to talk

"He was killed last night. He was keeping a secret from us from 10 years Jin! I've recently found out he's been hiding"she said her voice was angry mixed with sadness. I didn't know how to react?he got killed?from who?He's such a nice person! He may not be perfect but he's the perfect father in my eyes
