You were at the library, playing Ultimate Mecha Strike III with Max while the other classmates were watching the match. Eventually, you had the highest score than Max.

Alya: Woohoo! Y/N is in the lead!

You and Max high five. Then suddenly Marinette came inside and see the commotion. You notice her and grins and said.

You: I think it's Adrien's turn now.

Kim: What why?! You have the highest score and if someone tries to beat you and Max, it's a slam dunk.

You: Reasons come on now.

You said giving the joypad to Adrien. He looks at you confused as you nod which he takes a seat and begins to play with Max. As you watch them play, you went up to Marinette and Alya. When you see them, you facepalm seeing Marinette's dreamy face.

You: What did you imagine now?

Marinette jump and the girls look at you.

Alya: Well, Marinette has been imagined about teaming up with Adrien.

You: Mari, why don't let Max and Adrien play at the tournament.

Marinette: I can't Y/N!

You sigh in defeat and said.

You: Fine, I'll let you. If Max was akumatize, we all know it was your fault. Now if you excuse me, I have to go home now.

You said and walk away from them, and grab your bag, and went outside of the library. Adrien watches you from the corner of his eye and frowns.

Snowy: Hey, Y/N. I think something bad will happen, right?

She asks while peaking her head out of your purse as you walk to the court.

You: Yeah, I mean, why can't Marinette let Max team up with Adrien. Great now two people can make everyone had negative emotions.

You sigh and went back home.

Timeskip...

Max eventually got beaten by Marinette and now she is going to team up with Adrien which she is happy with. Right now, Max was in the streets walking angrily.

Max: This is a travesty. An unequivocal travesty!

At Hawk Moth's lair...

Hawk Moth: Ah, a competition. I know you like that, my little evil Akumas. Where there's a winner, there's always a loser.

He then turns a butterfly into an Akuma.

Hawk Moth: Fly away, my little Akuma, and evilize him!

With Max...

Max laments not going to the tournament. Then Akuma flies after his glass.

Max; I should've been going to that tournament. I was the chosen one! I worked so hard for it! Inconceivable!

The Akuma appears and evilizes him.

Hawk Moth: Gamer, I am Hawk Moth. I'll help you win the tournament of your life. But in return, you must help me achieve my high score.

Max: Absolutely Hawk Moth. Game on! Now to see who's the greatest gamer in Paris!

Max gets transformed to Gamer by the Akuma.

Outside of College Francoise Dupont...

Marinette: Ah, training with Adrien! Adrien!

Tikki: If all you wanted to do is spend time with Adrien, there are other ways to do that!
