Karasuno. It's a very welcoming school and just happens to have the most accepting people you will ever meet.

In Karasuno, the most popular person is Kageyama Tobio. When they started at the school they were quite cold and scary but as they opened up to people and accepted themselves, they started being nicer. Kageyama is gay (actually idk it's not really gay as they like males but they aren't necessarily male? I'm not sure please correct me if you know what I should've used instead). Kageyama also goes by they/them pronouns. It's no secret and they have extremely supportive parents.

In Karasuno, the hottest but rudest boy is Tsukishima Kei. He is confused about his sexuality and hates seeing people happy. It's not like he's proud of his rudeness, but it's his only way to make him feel better about himself.

Kageyama and Tsukishima have been assigned to work together for a project to Tsukishima's dismay as Kageyama Tobio is the one who has him questioning his sexuality. Tsukishima's parents are homophobic. They've strictly told Atikeru and Kei that they are not allowed to be part of the community. Atikeru did not agree with this and left.

Tsukishima has no choice but to stay. He also doesn't agree with his parents and has tried talking to them many times but it ends with him getting slapped or kicked out for the day.

-Time Skip-

Tsukishima and Kageyama were in Kageyama's room going through the project. Ever since Kageyama was comfortable with their sexuality and started paying attention to school, their grades have gone up significantly.

Tsukishima has always been the smartest in all subjects. He studied hard and takes pride in his work. A part of him was happy that he was partnered with a smart person but he hated that it was THE Kageyama Tobio.

Tsukishima was brainstorming ideas and so was Kageyama. Kageyama was secretly checking Tsukishima out. Kageyama had a crush on Tsukishima since first year. They know that Tsukishima probably hates them from the way that Tsukishima acts around them but they can't seem to loose their feelings.

Tsukishima noticed Kageyama staring at him and looked up. Kageyama didn't break eye contact but smirked which made Tsukishima blush.

"You look cute when you blush." Kageyama said confidently. Tsukishima blushed harder, muttering a soft "shut up" and went back to work. Tsukishima couldn't tell whether Kageyama was messing with him, or if he actually had a chance.

Tsukishima knew from that encounter that he DEFINITELY liked Kageyama. He needed help from his best friend, Yamaguchi Tadashi. As soon as he left Kageyama's house, he called Yamaguchi.

"Kageyama, I have a crush on Kageyama!!" Tsukishima whisper yelled as soon as Yamaguchi picked up.

"Woah slow down there! Explain Tsuki." Yamaguchi said giggling.

"Well I've always had a thing for them but I couldn't tell what it was.... but now after being paired together I know that I have a huge crush on them Yamaguchi!!" Tsukishima said really fast and in a panicking way.

He never agreed with his parents but always thought he'd be safe as he was straight, but now, now he's scared to even step foot in the house.

"Tsuki, thank you for telling me ok, don't feel pressured to figure out your sexuality though, it might take you 3 months, or maybe even years and that's ok!! I suggest talking to Atikeru, even though you hate him." Yamaguchi said in a calm and caring tone.

"Ok, thank you Yams I feel better. I'll talk to you tomorrow! Bye." Tsukishima said after taking a deep breathe. If it wasn't for Yamaguchi he'd be panicking right now, but thanks to Yamaguchi's wise words he was calm.
