Violet's POV

The telephone rang and I picked it up.

"Bring me the blue file of the White's right now" his voice groomed through the extension.

"Yes, Mr. Salvatore."

Finding the file immediately, I stepped into his cabin. Not before knocking of course.

Handing him the file, I noticed  he could see everyone from his cabin. Even where I am working!!

My eyes widened in realization. It's a two way glass??!!

"We are husband and wife now. You are to call me Damian Not Mr Salvatore. Is that clear?"he asked.

"Yes Damian." It felt weird to call him by his name.

"Very good. Now we have a meeting with the Whites in a few minutes. Let's go. You are to take notes of the important points."
And he started to walk.

Damn...he is fast. Anyway, I followed him to the meeting room and after a few minutes, everyone arrived.

The meeting went smoothly. Me taking notes, him explaining the new software.

But a guy, whose name I didn't know yet, was staring in my direction. When I looked towards him, he gave me a smile, it was a polite smile. Not wanting to be rude, I also replied with a polite smile.

Finishing the meeting, the Whites left. We accompanied them to the elevator.

I bumped into something or more accurately to someone and almost fell on the ground.

Almost.

The person held me by my waist and kept me steady. I realized it was none other than my husband, Damian. Damn.. he lookes hot in the white shirt.

Third person's's POV

Damian smirked knowing his wife was checking him out.
As If on cue, Violet came back to her sense and tried to let go of her hands from his broad shoulders.

Instead she found herself pinned against the wall behind her.

"WHY DID YOU SMILE AT HIM?" His eyes burning in fire, the rage in his voice sending a shiver down her spine.

The air of the atmosphere changed in less than a second. The smirk gone, his face dark.

"What are you saying?" Violet struggled to get herself free but no avail.

"I noticed it the whole time Violet. You gave him a smile when he smiled at you. WHY? WHY HIM?" his voice rising more.

"Damian, you are hurting me. Please... let go." she pleaded, her voice cracking from the pain.

"Then answer me, damn it." His one hand punching the wall beside her head.

"It was out of courtesy. What do you want me to do?"

His grip on her hand tightened more while he barked
"YOU ARE MY WIFE NOW. MINE. You get that?"

She only nodded in reply.

"Words love, words."

"Yes, Damian."she replied barely above a whisper.

"Good, I don't like any men near you. You won't speak to any men beside me. Don't let them touch you. The only person who can touch you or fuck you is me. Is that clear?"

"Yes" he left her hand and handed her the papers from the floor.

The red mark on her wrists turning blue, his eyes getting stuck on them for a second.

He left for his cabin right away leaving her there.

Violet was almost at the verge of crying. Rushing to her cabin, she took her bag and darted to the washroom.

She made sure that her bruises were hidden below the make-up. After finishing, she looked at herself in the mirror and said "Be strong and you will get through this. You have to be. For your family, for yourself, you have to be strong."

His mind was a chaos by then.
'Why did I hate it when she smiled at him? Why did it get me so worked up? I can't be attached to her. Not now, not ever.' Even though he was explaining himself, he knew deep down, it was a lie. He had fallen for her a long time ago. Even before she knew.
