Your POV
Today I have to move houses,since my Dad got a good job here in Okinawa.
I start school next week and today's a Saturday so I guess I can go to the skatepark.
Oh wait I forgot to introduce myself

I'm Y/N L/N
My hobbies are: Art,Guitar and Skateboarding 🛹

Anyways after I finished decorating my room I head downstairs to get a snack,my parents were still unpacking their stuff in their rooms.After my snack I went to their bedroom to tell my parents I was going out.

Turns out the skatepark was near my home just a few blocks away.When I arrived nobody was there except one boy.He looked the same age as me so I decided to befriend him,I don't have any friends yet either so I guess making a friend won't hurt?

I approached him,he seemed to be doing some sort of trick,I couldn't remember what trick he was doing,so maybe he created it himself ?

'Hey' I said
'Hm?' the boy turned around and looked at me with a confused look on his face.

I just give him a smile and say 'Well I just moved here, and I wanted to know if we can be friends?' I say

Miya's POV
I don't know this girl,yet she seems to be nice,but if I befriend her she will probably leave me like everyone else.
Wait she wants to be my friend?!
How will I know she won't leave me?
Oh! I know I'll race her and if she beats me she's not a slime!
There's a low chance of that though; might as well try
I quickly snap out of my thoughts when the girl starts waving her hand in front my face.
'Nii-san are you okay? you were spacing out' she says

'I'll be your friend, only if you beat me in a race'

'Hm? oh okay sure if that's what you want!' she says.

Your POV
The boy wants to race me?
He seems nice,and I want to see his skills in skateboarding so I'll give it a try!
We both line up, we have to race to the stop sign at the bottom of the hill.
He starts counting down;

3
GO!
We both start speeding down the hill, having to dodge some people,but that's all.
I gain some more speed catching up to- wait what's the boy's name anyways?
I'll ask him as soon as I win this race
Me and the boy were both toe to toe and then...

A TIE?!

How did it come to this?
There's only first place and second no in between!
The boy didn't seem to care but I could see slight confusion written all over his face, he did seem confident at that start that he'll win.

Miya's POV
A TIE?!
How?!
Guess she has some talent,and she caught up to me pretty fast too.
Oh yea I guess she can be my friend, what's her name anyways?
I'll ask; I think she knows my name already though.
I'll see...

'Ne what's your name little slime?'
'Slime!? SLIME!? who are you calling Slime you little-' she says
'I was kidding! but do you like the new nickname?'
'Ehem my name is not slime you stranger my name's Y/N L/N thank you very much!'

*That's actually a nice name* Chinen thought
'Do you know my name L/N-san?'
'Hmm nope! and you can call me Y/N' she says
*She doesn't know my name? that's unusual* Chinen thought
'Welp my name's Miya Chinen, but you can call me Miya'
'Oki Chii-san!'
*Chii-san?! wait what-*
'Sorry about the nickname I just think it's cute!' she says
Miya feels himself going a bit red,but immediately covers it by putting his hood on.

'Well I gotta go! wanna meet up next week here?'
'Okay then bye Y/N-san!'
*she's actually nice* Miya thought to himself
