They rolled down a hill, laughs escaping her lips. When they came to a stop she landed over him looking down at him. She giggled a bit before pecking his lips and running off. They were playing a game of hide and seek.
She decided to hide by the stables, where her horse Lady was. Sneaking inside she saw Lady. "Hey girl" She whispered, stroking her neck, the mare softened with her touch and gave a tiny neigh. She stepping in the stall and grabbed some of her mane before jumping on. When stepping out she saw him looking the other way. Perfect. She clicked her tongue a bit and Lady was off running. Upon hearing hoof beats he turning seeing her take off on her gray mare. Cursing he ran toward the stables were his horse, Crane was and climbed on top of him.

Within seconds he was tailing her, She was waiting for him to be right next to her. "Hello, see you joined the party" She teased, he rolled his eyes "What's wrong ey, Lady lost 'er spark" That when he saw her flash a grin. He knew he'd been played before he could do anything her and Lady were back off. She loved feeling like this free, when she rode Lady it always felt as if she was floating.
They waiting for him and Crane at the gate looking out at the sunset. She turned her head hearing the soft hooves hitting the dirt. "What was the you 'ere saying 'bout Lady losing her spark" She smirked at him. He mumbled something under his breathe before stopping Crane.
Lady was a good lass, Ada adored this horse deeply. Her grey marble coat and the faint hit of dapples that lined her. The grey hair the flower in the wind and glanced in the light. Lady was a thoroughbred, Ada didn't plan to race her she could if she wanted but would never forgive herself if anything happened to her. Lady was about 3 so she was young enough to race. Lady unlike any horse she's seen was fearful and could face almost anything, he personality wax amazing.
But Tommy's horse Crane was an albino (Perlino) with blue eyes that almost matched his. Crane had a golden mane that was long and flowy. Crane was a Dutch warm-blood with some thoroughbred. Tommy had found Crane when we went to the train tracks. He was just there, Tommy said it was a sign so he took 'im home. Crane was curious but got spooked a little easy but also was a calm horse to be around.
Ada and Tommy watched the sun as it set enjoying each other's company. Ada looked toward him and smiled. She loved him dearly, his brown hair and blue eyes that almost looked as if they weren't there at all. The way his lips wrapped around a cigarette, clicked her tongue she turned Lady and started to walked back toward the stables with her. Tommy soon followed, trotting a bit to catch up with her.
"I enjoyed today Tommy" Ada said looking at the boy. He smiled a faint one before speaking "As did I Darlin'" The ride back was silent, comfortable silence just the sound of hooves could be heard and something the soft neighs from surrounding horses.
Once they reached the stables, Ada jumped off of Lady and rubbed her neck. She gave her some treats before locking her in her stall. "Bye girl" She whispered in her ear, turning to see Tommy watching her. Tommy adored Ada as much as she adored Lady, her fire ginger hair and hazel eyes. He enjoyed watching her calm Lady or even Crane at times, the horses would calm when they heard her voice and would settle down or when she would gallop in the fields he'd watch, her hair flowing behind her and how concentrated she would be around the horses.
He smiled at the thought then saw she was staring at him. "What are you thinkin' bout" She asked picking up two buckets. Tommy leaned off a post "Nothin' much" Tommy then grabbed a bucket from her and walked beside her. They filled the buckets and brought them back to the stable giving them to the horses.
As they walked to the house Ada remembered "Oh Dear, I won't be 'ome tomorrow really" She smiled at him continuing to walk. "I'm taking Lady out, and goin' shoopin'" Ada said, she wanted to talk Lady to the beach, get her by the water. Lady enjoyed the water as much as drinking it. Tom nodded and put his hand around her waist pulling her toward him more. "Just be careful 'aright" Ada laughed and nodded, he always told her the same thing she always was careful when she sent out, everyone in the village loved her and greeted her when she went out. Tom and Ada have been together for 2 years and Ada begged to move in together which he finally agreed to about a couple months ago, the company was doing good which made her happy.
