Party on the hill

I woke up at 1:30 because my alarm never went off. The reason I woke up was because I heard a bang coming from downstairs. I jumped out of bed and went downstairs to see Austin and Jack wrestling on the living room floor. The couch was flipped backwards and the table was leaning against the wall. "What the hell are you guys doing?!" I yelled because clearly they didn't know I was standing there. All 6 of them looked at me then and that's when I realized that I was still in my Pyjamas. Grey short shorts and a black tank top. I felt my face go really hot as I ran back up stairs. I heard all the boys start laughing as I closed my door. I pulled an outfit out of the closet and got changed.

After I got dressed I put on some makeup and went back downstairs. I stood in the living room watching the boys struggle to pick up the couch and fix it properly. When they finally did, Jack looked at me first. "Well good morning there sleepy head." He said causing everyone else too look at me too. I smiled slightly. "Heh... yeah, my alarm didn't go off. Sorry." "It's all good. We were waiting for you too wake up. Jack wants to show the boys that place there up in the hill that looks over the town. He wants that to be the last memory you have here before you leave" Austin said rolling his eyes. I smiled again. "Yeah, so got get a couple blankets and some snacks because we're gonna be there for awhile." Jack said shooing me off. I put the blankets from last night in a pile beside the door than went into the kitchen to get some snacks. I pulled out 2 bags of chips, regular and Doritos. A box of granola bars, chocolate bars and some candy. I put them in a bag than went back into the living room and grabbed the blankets putting them in the bag as well. "It only gets dark at 7, so when do you wanna leave?" I asked Jack who was sitting on the couch looking at his phone. "Soon, like in the next hour or so." He said back. "Why do early? It'll only be like 2:30, 3 o'clock." "Because we're gonna watch the sunset and party a bit." He finally looked up from his phone when he spoke. I rolled my eyes a bit. "Let's not trash the place please, you remember what happened last time we were there with Austin" I said leaving the room. Last time we went was a year before Jack left to start the band. That was the first time I met Payton. My Jack and Austin went and Austin invited Payton up because he wanted to hangout with him and not us. Austin Jack and Payton ended up trashing the hill with beer cans and garbage. Payton and I went there a few times for some dates.

When I came back downstairs Jack and Zach were in the living room whispering too each other but when they seen me, they stopped and smiled. "What you you guys whispering about?" I asked curious. "Nothing." Jack said before leaving the room. I looked at Zach knowing how easy it was to make him talk. "Tell me." I said giving him the death stare. "It was nothing. And I'm not gonna tell you so don't even try." He said crossing his arms. I poured a little as I said "oh common Zachy, just tell me." "No Megan just drop it. Please" he said firmly. I rolled my eyes and looked at the bag of stuff by the door and realized there was a cooler beside it. I shook my head and went outside to Jacks van. I hopped in the passenger seat because I didn't want anyone to take it. I already had my swimsuit on under my clothes cause I know there's a secret swimming spot near the place. I pulled out my phone and texted Zach

I closed my phone just as Jack and the rest of the boys came out of the house. Austin was carrying the cooler and Zach had the bag on his shoulder. He yelled something at the guys before running into Jacks house for a few minutes. Everyone got into the van. Jack in the front seat,  Austin and Corbyn in the far back and Jonah in the seat behind Jacks. Zach came out about five minutes later, he hopped in and sat in the seat behind me. Jack pulled out of the drive way and handed me his phone. Since I was sitting in the passenger seat I got to choose the music. I plugged Jack's phone in and started playing DaBaby through the speakers.
When we left it was 3:00 o'clock now it was about 4:30. We all hopped out of the van and stood in front of the van. I took the bag from the back and looked at the cooler. I was about to open it when Austin slammed his hand over top of it. I looked at him and his face was looking nervous. I rolled my eyes and began my hike up the hill. Jack ran up after me and took the bag off my shoulder putting it on his. "So, what's the big secret?" I asked looking ahead. "What do you mean" "what's in the cooler Jack? Did you just come walk with me because you didn't want them to talk?" "No of course not. I wanted to walk with you because I wanna know what Payton did to you yesterday." "Nothing Jack he didn't do anything." "Tell me Megan" "fuck off Jack I'm not telling you shit* I said running up the hill ahead of everyone. Tears began to form in my eyes as I ran. I made it to top of the hill before anyone caught up to me. I went to the edge where there was a wood fence. I claimed over the fence and sat on the edge of the cliff. I wiped the tears off my face and looked out at the hills and the water down below. All of a sudden I heard Jack yell "MEGAN WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" It scared me because I didn't hear there foot steps or anything. I when I jumped form being startled, I slipped off the edge and began to fall. I grabbed onto the edge and held on with one hand. I was moments away from falling 40 ft into rapids. "MEGAN!" I heard Austin yell. I started to scream  as I looked down. "JACK! HELP! HELP ME PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!" I screamed. Suddenly I felt someone grab my wrist and pull me up. I hugged whoever it was  and they lifted me over the fence but I wouldn't let go. I had my eyes slammed shut and tears running down my cheeks. "Meagan, it's ok, your safe now." I than realized it was Zach who saved me. I opened my eyes and let go of him. He wiped the tears off my face as Jack and the rest of the guys ran over to me and Zach. "Megan! What were you doing sitting there!" Jack yelled at me when he got over. "I-I Was just sitting there. You scared me cause I didn't hear you guys come up the hill so I jumped and than slipped of the e-edge." I was shaking as I spoke. I walked away from them and went to a rock. I sat down and brought my knees up to my chest. I watched as Jack walked over to me and stood in front of me. "Megan I'm sorry ok. You don't have to tell me. I just hate the thought of anyone hurting you. I'm sorry.." he said looking at me. I scooted forwards and hugged him. "It's ok. I'm not mad at you. I'm was just annoyed and I wasn't thinking." I said as I let go of him and stood up. "Now can we stop with the depressing shit and party" I said smiling up at him. He laughed and nodded his head. He walked over to where Jack had dropped the bag and where Austin left the cooler and brought them both over. He put the cooler down and gave me the bag. Zach ran over and took the bag from me and put it over his shoulder. "Hey. I was gonna get out the blankets" I said looking up at him.  He leaned down and whispered in my ear. "My swimsuits in there. If you don't want the boys to see I suggest you don't open it yet." He stood up straight again. And looked over the where the boys were surrounding the cooler. He secretly opened the bag and pulled out his swim shorts. He closed the bag and handed it to me. He he crumpled the shorts up into a ball in his hand. I pulled out the blanket and put them in a pile. I put the bag beside the pile and walked over to the boys. "Brought s'mores so Zach and I are gonna go get some fire wood ok?" "Yeah, yeah sure ok." Jack said shooing me off. I rolled my eyes and went back I've to Zach. "Ok common. Follow me" I said walking past him. I assumed he was still following me as I lead the way to the pond. When we got there I said "tada, here we are, Megan's mystical pond." I said smiling at him. "You named the pond after yourself." He said with a small laugh. In wooded than took off my shirt, jeans, shoes and socks reviling my bikini.

Zach face was red when I looked at him again. I smiled at him. "I- I'm obviously not wearing my swimsuit so I uh... I have to change into it.." he said looking at me expectantly. I than realized what he was saying. "Right ok. I'll go take pictures of the sky. Over there." I said going over to the fence by the edge of the cliff. I looked to the side and in the distance I could see the other boys laughing and drinking pop or something in a can. I began to take picture of the sky when I heard Zach say "k I'm done." I smiled and turned around. He was standing there fixing his hair. He wasn't wearing a shirt. And same that boys got abs. I stopped my self from looking down any farther. "Shall we swim?" I said looking at his face. He smiled and dived into the water. I laughed and put my phone down one my pile of clothes. I walked into the water I was confused because I hadn't seen Zach come up yet. I started getting worried but got distracted when I felt something grab my leg. I screamed as I got pulled under the water. I felt water rushing into my mouth. I was pushed back up and I immediately started coughing. Zach came up in front of me with worry all over his face. "Megan I'm sorry. Are you ok?" I nodded as I continued to cough. A few seconds later I stopped and began to catch my breath. "Jesus Zach first you had me worried that you were drowning, than you pull me under the water and try to kill me. What's next, your gonna throw me off the cliff" I said the last part jokingly so he didn't actually take it offensively. He laughed than splashed some water at me. It hit me in the face. I went to do it back but he was already gone under the water. I shook my head and stood there with my arms crossed. He came back up and looked at me. He crossed his arms too and started mocking me. I laughed than sprayed water back at him.

We finished swimming at least an hour later. I'm surprised no one came to look for us yet. I realized after we got out of the water that I forgot to bring towels. I looked at Zach and I think he realized that too. He threw his shirt at me. "Here use this to dry off a bit" he said as he grabbed his pants, socks, shoes and boxers. "Well than what are you gonna use?" "Nothing I'll be fine." He said going behind the bushes. I grabbed my stuff and went behind the other bushes. I got out of my bikini and dryer off a little. Than put my clothes back on. I put my shoes on than went back out. Zach was sitting on a rock putting on his shoes when I walked over to him. "What are you gonna wear now? Your shirts soaked" I asked as he stood up in front of me. I stepped back a little. "Nothing. I don't need a shirt, I'm a guy remember. I walk around with no shirt on all the time." He said with a grin. I rolled my eyes at him and started walking towards where the boys were.when we got back there they all looked at us. "Why is your hair wet?" Austin asked. "Why are are you pants soaked? And where is you shirt" Jack asked. Zach held up his shirt and pointed to his wet swim shorts. All the boys eyes shifted to me after they finished questioning Zach. I just shrugged my shoulders and went to the bag of snacks and stuff. I took out a plastic bag and put my swim suit in there. I motioned for Zach to give me his, he threw it over and he threw me his shirt too. I put everything back into the bag and stood up. "You went swimming without us." Corbyn complained pouting. I smiled a little and went up to him. I put my hand on his cheek. "Don't worry Corby, we'll be doing a lot of swimming while I'm in L.A." I said smiling at him. Jack swatted my hand off his face. I rolled my eyes at Jack than went over to the speaker Austin brought and turned it on. I pulled out my phone and Blue-toothed it to the speaker. The guys all looked at me as I did this, I eventually heard Austin's voice in my left ear "who said you get to connect to my speaker?" "Hm. Let me see.... oh right I did" I retaliated back at him. I pushed play on my rap playlist and the first song that came on was 'concert for aliens by Machine Gun Kelly' all the guys started vibing and I went and sat on a rock looking out at the view. As they were over there doing what I assumed was drinking and dancing, I sat and took in what I thought would be my last time seeing this hill. Little did I know, I was right.
