Alone

December 27th, 8:07

-Eren's pov-

Y/n was still asleep when I left that morning. I wrote her a note inviting her to join me if she felt like spending another day on the set. I didn't want to wake her up, she seemed to be sleeping so peacefully. I've noticed she had been struggling to sleep. She's had been a little off, her head was always somewhere else. I hated to see her like that. I cared so much about her, and seeing her like that, I kinda felt like it was my fault.

Arrived at the studio, Hange greeted me and we got things started quick. 

" Y/n's not with you today?" I shook my head. Hange looked disappointed. " Did you guys fight or something?" 

" No, no... She was still asleep, and I didn't want to wake her up." Hange looked at me with a ' awww' face. I smiled and got in the changing room.

" When you do plan on telling her?" Hange asked me through the door. 

" I don't know, she has a lot in mind recently..." I sighed and got out of the changing room. Hange patted my clothes and made sure everything was perfect. " I don't think it's a good time to open up to her." Hange nodded and smiled.

" I'm sure the right moment will come. Anyways, I'm glad you're healing."

11:35

We were finally done with the shoot. After I had said goodbye to the team, I left form Y/n's dorm. I hadn't heard from her, I thought she was probably still sleeping. I knocked three times on her door, but got no answers. I tried to open the door, but it was locked. I hadn't lock her door behind me. I shrugged and unlocked it with Mikasa's key. When I opened the door, the room was as mess. 

" What the fuck happened..." I looked around, hoping to find Y/n, but the dorm was empty. Worried, I looked at my phone and saw 3 notifications from Y/n. I quickly opened them and froze. 

Dummy: I'm really sorry. I should've waited to tell you in person, but I had to take the earliest flight for Canada. I got a call from my mom around 9. She was crying. My dad is in a critical situation after an accident. The doctors gave him 2 days. 

Dummy: I don't know when I'll be back, but I don't think i'll make it for the session. I used every single dollar left I had for a single flight and my mom needs me... I'm really sorry, I fell like shit for doing this... 

Dummy: See you soon, hopefully.

I dropped my phone. There I was... Alone... Again. She had a good reason to leave, but I still felt like she had abandoned me. This pattern looked way to familiar... I got attached, and she then left...

" NOT AGAIN!" I yelled. This couldn't happen again, I've tried to avoid having to deal with something like this again, but it happened... I picked up my phone and dialed Hange's number.

" Hey, what's wrong?" They asked me. 

" I-I'm not ok... she left. I-I shouldn't have... I'm a-alone, again..." I tried getting out. My vision started to get blurry. 

" WHAT! Oh fuck. I'll be here in 20! Deep breaths Eren... Everything will be ok." I started to feel dizzy. My heart was beating to an abnormal rhythm. " Eren stay with me, sit down and take deep breaths." I did as she said, shaking like a leaf. " Eren, tell me 5 things you see." I took a deep breath and looked around. I tried to regain consciousness of my surroundings, but failed. 

" I-I can't... Hange, I think I-"

" You're having an anxiety attack, I know. Try to stay on the phone with me ok?" 

" I'll try..." I whispered. 

' See what you're doing to me Y/n? It had been two years since my last attack. You brought me that security and broke it. Since day the day we met, they had disappeared... I thrusted you, I thought you were worth giving love another chance... I thought you were special.' 

" Eren, stay with me. The only reason you should hang up, is to call an ambulance, I'm a clear?" 

" Yes..."

January 12th, 19:00

-Your pov-

It had been almost 2 weeks since you had left. Unfortunately, when you arrived in Canada, you were too late. Your father had passed while you were on your way. 

You were in your room, at your family's house. You hadn't eat in 3 days, you couldn't. You felt so guilty for not being there when your father died. You didn't get the chance to tell him goodbye. The man who had raised you just passed, and there was nothing you could've done about it. The atmosphere in your house was heavy. Your childhoods friends proposed to come visit you, but you didn't want to see anyone. 

" Honey, you need to eat..." You heard your mom say through your door.

" I'm not hungry..." She sighed and opened the door. 

" Please Y/n... I didn't want you to come back, so you could fall back in your bad old habits. You promised me, when you moved out, that you wouldn't to that to yourself anymore." 

" But I'm back in here... Where it all began..." She sat next to you and hugged you. " I miss him..." You managed to say between cries. " I hate myself for leaving, I shouldn't have left... It wouldn't have happened. It's all my fault..." You cried in your moms shoulder.

" It's not your fault Y/n..." She caressed your back, trying to comfort you. You pulled away and looked at your phone. " You should hang out with them... They are worried about you, and I think it's time for you to get out of your room a bit. Change your mind." You sighed and agreed.

" I'll do, but tomorrow..." She nodded and kissed your forehead.

" Try to get some sleep Y/n... Good night." On that, she left your room, closing the door behind her.

' I wonder are the others, back in college... I wonder if their trip was fun... Their session must've started. But will I go back? Should I? I miss Eren, I wished he was with me right now... Cuddling like we did that night, when I needed him. I wish he was there to comfort me... But he's not... He's hours of flight away from here... I hope Eren took it well, better than I did... What am I kidding, he's probably fine, I'm just... just a friend.'
