Schizo (SZ)

<New kid on campus>  

Principal: What's this I hear, we got a new student?   Admin: Yes, he just enrolled, his name is schizo?  P: What? Did you verify that? What school is he from?  Give me his record.  

A: We don't have much on him.  He produced a birth certificate that confirms his name.  He claims he was home school/self-taught, so we don't have any prior history on his education.  But he did produce a mensa IQ certificate we confirmed.  His IQ is 188. 

P:  What the H*?  He's a mensa schizo?  Setup a meeting with his parents.

A: We had contacted his adopted mom, but she confirmed what little information we had on him.  She said she adopted him when he was 10.  She tried to change his name, but it's the only name he would respond to.  When he was 12, he legally changed it back.  She said he was more self-taught than home school by her.  He was too smart for school and her.

She said he's not a normal kid, he keeps things from her, she doesn't know what he does when he's out or on the computer.  She said he's a computer prodigy and he's able to make his own money.  It's not like he needs to go to school.  So she doesn't know why he enrolled.

P: Did you ask her if he was dangerous and if he ever got in trouble?   A: Yes, but her answers were strange, like she was coached.  She said, why would he be dangerous? And as far as she knows, if he had, she doesn't know and he wouldn't tell her.  He does his own thing and doesn't really tell her.  P: You mean caught?  A: Maybe?

P: Did you do a background check and searched the internet?  A: Yes, nothing came back, which doesn't make sense.  The only other information we have on him is a campus rumor that he's a Jakehoon offspring?   P: What does not mean?   

A: Jakehoon is a kpop idol fanfiction, there are thousands of stories.  Like an urban legend.  He denies it.  It doesn't make sense, Jake and Sunghoon would have been five.  But there are also stories that they met when they were five, and they might have been in some type of genetic experimentation.

P: What? This is too far-fetched.  Call him in?

<Administration>

P: So schizo, that's a strange name, why?  Schizo: As far as I can remember, that's what people called me.  P: You're pretty smart, you've been self-taught, you can easily get a GED. Why are you really here?  SZ: To learn and socialize like a normal kid.  P: <that's what a psycho would say to throw us off his track> Well, we have rules you will need to follow.  SZ: Of course. I've read through the school handbook.

P: We have an anti-bullying rule. And we flushed out a lot of bullies in the past 3 years since we incorporated the policy.  SZ: How well do you know your students?  P: Their behavior or actions dictate their intent. SZ: How do you know, your perception isn't wrong.  Just as you are pre-judging me now.  P: Don't think I don't know your game.  SZ: Game?  I take learning seriously.

P: We're watching you.  SZ: As you should.  I won't take offense.  P: <looks at him with skepticism> You may go.

A: So here's your class schedule. If you have any questions, let me know?  I'm here to help?  SZ: I sent your daughter a gift on your behalf since it's her birthday today and you forgot again.  A: What?  SZ: You don't think I would allow you to research me without doing the same do you?  A: Did you just threaten me?  SZ: Call it a welcome gift.  A: <didn't know what to think, but felt he needed to be on guard.  He called his daughter to reassure himself that she was fine.>
