Chapter 1: Envelopes

7:00 AM, about the time where the kingdom would wake up and start their day. Another day where nothing too interesting would happen and hopefully no attacks would come.

The sound of a pencil writing moved along a paper filled the room.

"Jeez, what time is it? How long have I been up?" The country asking himself looking at his watch.

"7:02? Has it been 3 hours since I've been working?" He went to the window and looked out to see that the town was already up and going.

Muffled sounds of talking, yelling from street vendors, and the laughter of small children were heard. It would be a shame if it would all disappear.

'Oh well, might as well get ready for today. School starts at 8:00 and then I'll have to help father with the art store. Somehow I'm still standing after 5 hours of sleep.' He thought while getting himself ready.

As he was changing a Pigeon came to his window with an envelope in its beak. It tapped on the glass which alerted the country.

"Eh? Who's there?"

"Coo-coo." said the pigeon

"Ah, it's just you Snow. One second, let me finish changing."

After he finished changing he opened his window to reveal an ice pigeon holding a letter that had his school's seal on it.

"Can you give me the letter Snow?" he asked while the pigeon just looked at him.

"Right, food," he remembered and went downstairs and grabbed a bag of seeds. "Here ya go bud." As he put some kernel on the window sill.

Snow (the pigeon) dropped the envelope in his hand and ate the corn. He opened the letter to reveal two pieces of paper inside it with a note.
