Chapter 5: At the academy

"Alrighty sir, that's your stop," The carriage ride person announced stopping in front of the academy, letting Germany get off with his stuff, "have a nice time here!"

"Oh, thank you for dropping me off." Germany thanked the carriage person and went to the front entrance while the person rode away. When he got to the entrance a sign was being held up by magic.

Germany took a map from the basket that was floating next to the board, it showed where the basic stuff of a normal school, he opened it up and looked at the school's perimeter. So the lunchroom is after the entrance, then there are the dorms that are in the back of the school on the first floor. Classrooms are both in the east and west...

"Um, hey can you move over a little?" A voice asked behind Germany. He turned around to see a slightly shorter country, her hair was made up of two simple colors, blue and yellow while she wore a flower crown and a sweater with a white skirt.

"O-oh, my apologies!" Germany stuttered and moved over so that the country could get a map too.

She opened the map looking into it. "So, you seem like the person that would be in this school."

"Eh, what? Okay then, I'll take that as a compliment." Blunt much.

The atmosphere quickly became awkward as the two countries were reading their maps. Germany decided it would be best if he left since many other people were walking past them, although it may be rude to her if I leave... hmm, she doesn't look like she'll pay attention if I leave now. He ended up leaving and going inside the school.

When he went inside he found an empty spot in the front row where his friends were. Bulgaria saw him standing near the pillar and waved to him signaling that he can come over and sit with the rest of the group. When taking a seat there were many people from the Pigeon Kingdom speaking that the Pigeon Kingdom is where most intelligent students come from.

Soon the curtains from the stage started opening and the lunchroom became quiet with some whispers going around. Five figures walked out one by one in wizard apparel and some halo floating above their heads. Man, this school really loves floating things, Germany thought, trying not to laugh at the thought. One figure went to the glass lectern that was put in the middle of the stage, took out a wand, and tapped the lectern lightly and the wand gave off a little aquamarine-colored spark.
