We soon arrived at the castle and everyone started to exit the train. Draco helps me grab my bag which doesn't go unnoticed by the girls, they all observe how nice Draco is being towards me, and watch his actions with a smirk on their faces.

After getting off the Hogwarts express a large man stood in front of me.

"Hello there I'm Rubeus Hagrid, I'll be taking you to professor Mcgonagall to get you sorted." He says.

"Oh...Ok" I reply looking at all my friends

"It will be fine we will see you later" maza says and I nod.

"Follow me" Hagrid says.

I walk behind the large man to the castles. As we arrive to the large wooden doors, standing there is a tall, slender, elder woman holding a sheet of parchment.

"Why, hello miss Carrington, I'm professor Mcgonagall." she says with a smile.

"Hello" I reply.

"Now all of the first years have already been sorted, so I will bring you in there and you shall be sorted, after professor Dumbledore says a few words. Do you understand?".

"Yes, I do".

"Alright then lets be off".

We walk through the large castle, to be meet with another set of wood doors.

"You wait here, I'll go tell the headmaster you are ready." she spoke and I nodded I waited for a minute until the door slightly cracked only for me to hear a loud voice speaking.

"Students this year we have a transfer she is starting her 5th year here at Hogwarts, She is a transfer from Beauxbatons academy, You will do the school proud by all of you showing her a warm welcome. With out further words, She will now be sorted." The voice spoke.

"Come dear." Mcgonagall spoke opening the door leading me to the center of the dinning hall "Have a seat" I sit as she holds a old dusty hat and puts it on my head.

"OH MY WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE... TELL ME CHILD WHAT BE YOUR NAME" the hat spoke.

'' My name is Lyra Carrington" I stated.

"My child the truth shall be revealed in the near future but until then..." the hat whispers to me "WITH ALL CERTAINTY YOU SHALL BE..." the hat paused making me riddle with anxiety.

"SLYTHERIN" it yelled

And a large amount of people started cheering as I sat there not out of shock because that's where I was supposed to be because of my parents but out of confusion of what the hat said. My robes changed emerald green as I noticed Gabie waving at me from the Slytherin table.

"congrats... omg I'm so excited your in the same house as me." she squeals as I take a seat next to her

We finish dinner as a small child comes up to me and taps me on the shoulder. I turn around in my seat to see who it is, before I could say anything I hear Blaise speak.
