"Yua make sure you facetime us every night!" Sophia screached at the moving van as it drove away, with her life long best friend in it.
Yua wiped a tear that managed to escape of her cheek and sighed. She was mad. Mad at her mom and dad for making her move to Japan, but most of all mad at herself for being selfish about this whole thing. She knew that the only thing that her parents wanted for her was to be happy. The girl quickly slipped her earbuds in and blasted her favorite music, trying to fall asleep before her parents start tried to make conversation. Ramen, who was happily curled up in Yua's lap, let out a sigh before closing her eyes.
The trip didn't feel as long as she thought that it would. 13 hours felt like 4, mainly because she was asleep for 9 of them. The only stops that they made were for bathroom and food breaks. Right before their last stop Yua changed into a comfy outfit for the rest of the trip.

When they pulled up to their new house Yua quickly got Ramen out so she could use the bathroom and so Yua could stretch. With her phone and earbuds safely stuffed in the zipped up pocket on her hoodie, Yua wasn't missing anything important. Yua raised her arms to the sky and stood on her tip toes. Looking at the house she realised that she might be ok with being here. The house was a large two story gray house. There were no flowers out in the front, making the house feel bland against the other homes.
"I know what your thinking honey, but once we get all settled in we will add flowers, a porch swing, and lots more." Yua's mother said trying to cheer her up.
Yua bent down and picked up Ramen. The girl held her close and smushed her face in the puppy's fur.
"When do I start school?"
"On monday(In the book it is Thursday) you will be starting school. Speaking of which we need to go and get your new school uniform." Her father said, mainly talking to her mother at the last part. Yua rolled her eyes at the idea of wearing a school uniform. Her father handed her a copy of the key for her to keep. Yua and her dog walked up onto the wrap around porch and to the white door. Slipping her key into the slot and turnning it, she heard the click of the lock. Pushing the door open she stepped in. Yua took her sweet time walking through all of the rooms, mapping the new house in her mind. Yua left the biggest room for her parents but chose the second biggest room. The house was a four bedrooms and a four bath home. Yua's bedroom had a good sized walk-in closet and a big bathroom.
"Yua could you come down here and help us unload the truck?!" Her father yelled up the stairs.
"Ya dad I will be down in a few minutes.'' She yells back. Yua sighed and trudged down the steps and out to the moving truck.
6 hours and 45 minutes later. Yua finally gets the main things in her bathroom and bedroom done and put out. Because it was almost 11:00 PM Yau hopped into the shower. She scrubbed her hair with her coconut shampoo and conditioner, and her body with her special lavander body wash. She pulled her PJ's on and jumped under the covers. Not even 5 minutes later her phone went off. With the light blinding her, she answered the facetime call with Sohpia.
"What in the HELL do you want Soph?" She asked.
"You said that you were going to FaceTime me every night." She said looking at something else in her room.
Yua thought for a moment."I do not recal those words coming out of my mouth."
"Well- I mean...you said them." she said still not making eye contact. They talked for about 30 minutes before they said their goodbyes and hung up. Yua plugged her phone in before going to sleep.
