The next morning, Lily woke up on George's chest. It was Saturday and they had slept in until 11. Many people must have walked past and hadn't even woken them up. Lily kissed George on the lips and waking him.
"Ohh what an amazing thing to wake up to" George whispered into the kiss.
Lily giggled.
They got up and brought Lily's bag into the girls dorm.
"Guys guess what!" Hermione said holding a book running into the common room. "I was researching in the-"
"Library" George and Lily said in unison.
"Yes. So i was looking at the rule book and it says with permission from the Headmaster and Head of Houses a student can retake the sorting quiz if absolutely needed."
"So?" Lily asked.
"So Lily i am sure with persuasion you can retake the sorting hat and and maybe become a Gryffindor!" Hermione says smiling.
"What!! How but how can we convince everyone?" Lily asked again
"Well i mean your head of house is your dad that shouldn't be hard he would want whats best. McGonagall knows about Malfoy and we tell her last nights issue i am sure she will be convinced as will Dumbledore. The sorting hat will be the problem." Hermione said pacing a little.
"Well i don't know the sorting hat took forever to decide between Gryffindor and Slytherin for me it took like 10 minutes. I think the only reason was because i kept saying please not Gryffindor please Slytherin and that's what it shouted" Lily said
George wrapped his arm around his girlfriend smiling and kissed the top of her head.
"Right lets go" Hermione said grabbing Lily's hand. ty
"N-now?" She asked
"Yep then we can spend much more time studying for the second task." Hermione replied
Lily laughed and left George being pulled by Hermione right to McGonagall's office.
They arrived at the office and entered when called.
"Professor. We have come to ask a question." Lily said
"Go ahead Miss Snape and Miss Granger" she replied
"So i was looking in the rules and it said if necessary a student can switch houses if agreed with Headmaster and both heads of houses and if the Sorting hat says they have the capabilities." Hermione finished squeezing Lily's hand.
"Oh Miss Snape are you wanting to change house why?"
"Err well its just i don't really like the common room i don't have any friends and i tend to return as late as i can so i don't get ganged up on" Lily said slightly trembling.
"Lily. Also professor Draco bullies her and she feels really uncomfortable there" Hermione said
"Well i will ask Dumbledore and Professor Snape about it i will update you when i have asked them" McGonagall said to the two
"Ok thanks Professor." Lily said walking out
"Yes thanks" Hermione said following Lily.
The two girls left the office and started to walk around school until they finally stopped at the black lake. Lily's stomach churned she knew she would be returning here not to just take in the view.
"Listen Lily" Hermione said turning and grabbing Lily's arms. "With studying you will be fine. Plus you are the potion masters daughter and Lily Potters daughter!"
"I mean I am scared Mione but it isn't just that" Lily said tears forming in her eyes.
"What is it?" Mione asked
"You know how Harry is the 'chosen one'. Well if he is the chosen one why was my name in the cup?" This question constantly confused Lily.
"I don't know maybe your the chosen one two. Have you got any scars you have had since you were little?" Hermione asked again
"Erm yes but i don't show it much it looks a-lot like Harry's" Lily said folding up her sleeve revealing a lightning bolt scar on her wrist.
"Omg" Hermione said staring at the scar "no thats impossible"
"What?"
"Well i read this article." Hermione started "everyone knew about you and the second child you, but no one knew what had happened to you it came off as you weren't at the house the night where your mum died."
"But i was my-my dad he said" Lily interrupted
"I know but maybe if you were there on the night and you have a scar so maybe your the other chosen one?" Hermione finished
"Yeah but how can there be two chosen ones i don't know" Lily said
"Why don't u ask ur dad"
"No we can work it out its fine i am sure he doesn't know" Lily replied sharply
"Ok... are you sure i mean he is your dad surely he would something?"
"Hermione i said no i am not asking my dad no no no" Lily replied again tears slightly forming
"Lil why are you getting upset is there something you haven't told us?" Hermione asked worried
"Err no i am fine" Lily answered wiping a tear from her face
"Lily i am going to ask one thing did your dad hurt you?" Hermione said holding both Lily's hands
"N-n-n" Lily said looking into Hermione's eyes. "Y-yes"
Hermione's face dropped.
"You cant tell anyone please it was once he got out of control please it was my fault we have moved passed it please" Lily begged
"O-ok does Harry know?" Hermione asked
Lily shook her head. "Don't tell him not anyone i don't want it spreading or my dad will loose his job please Hermione"
"Ok but if he or anyone ever again lays a hand on you, you have to tell me ok?"
"Ok thanks mione"
The girls hugged and walked back to the common room.
