Zayn walked Liam the rest of the way, though it wasn't long. Her class was in the same hallway though at the end of it.
"Okay Liam, here's your stop. Let me see your schedule again?" Zayn asks.
Liam hands it over.
"Okay... you have lunch next period with me! That's great, so um... I'll be right here to pick you up?" Zayn offers.
"Yeah, yeah that'll be fine." Liam says with a smile across his face.
"Okay... bye Liam." Zayn says walking away, but he sounded like he didn't wan to leave Liam.
"Bye Zayn." Liam says, opening up the door of the classroom, but eyes not leaving Zayn.
He finally walks in the classroom. Right before the bell.
Most kids are already in class. Liam quickly takes the first seat he sees so he won't have to be called up.
"Okay students, how was your break?" Ms.Dueberry asks the class although she is occupied in doing something else.
A lot of answers were shouted out, as if he students didn't know how to raise their hands. Liam heard a variety from skateboarding, cruises, vacations, boyband concerts, staying at home, family reunions, and a whole rack of things Liam didn't do. He spent most of his summer packing up his belongings and packing furniture and emptying their house out to trucks to then begin unloading to the other house they had bought. Very tiring and frustrating for Liam.
"Oh, that's nice. Very nice." She said, finishing up whatever she was doing and then resting her elbows on the podium in the front of the classroom, putting her chin in her hands.
"Okay, I see some new faces in this classroom." She says, looking around the room then to Liam.
Liam silently groans to himself.
"Raise your hand if this is your first day at Hayfield High." She asks, raising her hand for an unneeded demonstration.
Liam raises his hand shyly. He notices that he's not the only one. A smaller hand across the room is up too. Liam is curious to see who this is since he can't see through the bodies of the seated students.
"Nice, nice. Okay class, be sure to give them a warm welcome here and don't mind helping them around a bit. This is a pretty big school if you haven't noticed yet." She states.
There were math problems on the board as this was a math class. Looks like no introductions this time. Liam was relive. But it was short lived as he remembered he was no good at math.
Ms. Dueberry starts to explain the problems. Liam turned his attention to the new person he saw moments ago.
He moved his head numerous directions to try and see this kid's face. He leaned forward and then saw. It was a boy.
He had blond hair. His cheeks were a light shade of red. He looked so young to Liam. His features were soft and light. He was also pretty adorable.
The boy looked over to Liam. Liam quickly leans back, embarrassed to be caught looking.
Liam looks to the clock. Thirty more minutes. Liam sinks into his chair and starts to tune in to whatever Ms. Dueberry was talking about.
"Afterwards, if we draw a radius in the small circle to the point of tangency, it will be at right angle with the chord. If x is half the length of AB, r is the radius of the small circle and R the radius of the large circle then by Pythagoras's theorem we have..."Liam tunes out. He hated geometry. Though it wasn't as bad as the algebra problems he would have thrown at him. Why was he put in this class? His dad knew he had a low 'C' at his last class in mathematics.
