Note that this is set before the night of Dumbledore's death. I've been working on this ever since I started writing this series because I wanted this to be the main part. Sorry if it's a bit cheesy.
Enjoy!Harry lay awake in his four-poster, wondering why Ginny had burrowed his invisibility cloak the day before. He finally fell asleep with the thought of asking her in the morning.

Ginny threw Harry's invisibility cloak over herself and climbed down the girls' domitary and snuck into the boys'.
It was quiet messy. There was a pile of books lying around, a shirt in the middle of the room and chocolate wrappers all over the floor. The boys never clean up, do they? Ginny thought to herself.
She opened the curtains of Harry's four-poster and closed them as she got in. She smiled as she saw Harry sleeping on his side, he had his glasses off.
Taking the cloak off, Ginny knelt down next to his bed. "He looks cute, even while sleeping." She said a a low whisper. He flinched as Ginny stroked his cheek. His eyes slowly opened to see Ginny smiling at him.
"Ginny?" He said in disbelief. "I must be dreaming. You're the only one who comes in my dreams these days."
Ginny smiled as he said this. It's good to know that you're boyfriend thinks about you even in his sleep. Then an idea clicked in Ginny's head. If he thought this was a dream then he could answer a question truthfully. A question that she had wanted to asked for a while now.
"Yes Harry, a dream." She played along. "And in a dream you can say whatever there is in your heart."
Harry sat up and looked at her. "How do I know you won't reject me?"
"Reject you?" Ginny hoped he was going to say what she had been dying to hear. "Harry this is a dream. You don't need to think of consequences in a dream. I know you want to tell me something, Harry."
How many times was he inches away from saying the three words? But everytime he would change the subject. He was about to confess last night, but her git of a brother interrupted. She still swore at him for that.
"And I also know . . ." She went on, "that you're not going to come in my dreams so I thought why don't I pop up?"
"Don't say that." Harry pouted. "You just have to give me one call and I'd be there in a matter of seconds." This swelled Ginny's heart but she decided to tease him a bit.
"Then why didn't you come?" She said making a puppy face. Harry frowned. "Scared?"
Harry lifted her chin up with his index finger and looked her the eyes. "Why be scared, when you're in love, Ginny?" He said with a warm smile.
Ginny's eyes widened. He said it! But she wanted to hear him say the three magical words. "What? Wh- what did you just say?"
Harry put feet on the floor, leaning closer to Ginny. He cupped her face with both his hands and looked her in the eyes again. She looked longingly at him.
"Ginny, I lo-" but he stopped and let go of her. She frowned at him. "I can't." Ginny's heart stopped.
"Wh- what?"
"What if Voldemort sees this dream?" Harry said standing up. "I can't risk your life Ginny."
"He won't see it." Ginny reassured him. "I promise. Please say what you were going to say. Please." She said, desperately. He took a deep breath.
