chapter 5

Rouge pov:

I get dressed and go downstairs to get ready for training. As I reach the living room I find rea curled up against Alex. I growl at the sight walking up to them slowly. It was like rea already knew I was there and doesn't even flinch when I growl louder, she just looks up at me and smiles saying "hey rouge" I glare at her crossing my arms. She tilted her head looking at me confused.

"What is it rou" she asks. I huff and stomp away to the backyard for practice.

Rea's Pov:

I stare as rou stomps away, not understanding why she's mad. I shrug it off and go back to watching the movie.

After a couple of minutes my mom walks in and gasps "why aren't u in practice and why are u cuddling with Alex!" She exclaims watching me with wide eyes. I get up form the couch and walk over to her bowing my head "forgive me luna I did not know if I was welcome to join practice." I say. She sighs and says "honey of course you are you part of this pack always was and always will be, and stop with the formal Luna stuff. I like it but I am your mother also."

I stare up at her with no emotion on my face "I am sorry mother, but now excuse me for I am late for practice." I say and walk around her to leave the room.

When I reach the backyard I see everyone standing like solders as my dad speaks to them. I frown when I see rou all the way in the back. She is my mate she is to be up front with the rest of the rank 1. I walk up to my father and stop right behind him waiting for him to finish. "father" I say, waiting for him to turn around. he flinches not knowing I was behind him and turns to me saying "ah rea so glad you could join us, we were about to start" my frown deepens when he calls up the beta to us.

"I want you both to lead the practice" states my father, I turn back to him "no father I cannot do that for he is only a beta" my father frowns not really understanding why I would give up the opportunity to lead them. "But rea he knows our training ways and is my second in command so he is perfect for it" he says staring at me with confusion when I shake my head "no father, the pack needs an alpha to lead them and a Luna that is the way the moon goddess created it and that is how it shall be. So call mother that way you both shall train us."  I say Firmly and walk to the back to stand next to my mate.

My father tells the beta to call my mother as he tries to process this event. When my mom reaches us she is in awe to what I said. I look over at my mate and smile but she brushes it of with a glare. I turn back to the alpha with a confused expression, and my mom gives me a comforting smile.

The alpha starts the training by making us run the whole broader of the pack. 'Piece of cake' I think to myself but watch as everyone else sighs in disappointment. I frown but don't say anything. As we run I let everyone go ahead of me so I can watch how they are. Clumsy I think. I look around for my mate and don't see her till I hear a yelp from behind me. I quickly turn to find my mate on the floor. I run to her helping her up

"Rou are you oK" I ask her and she just sigh a and sits on the fallen tree. I frown and sit next to her "what's wrong Rou? why are you giving up" I say looking at her "because I can't do it even if I did have the strength" she whispers.

"What do u mean strength" I ask confused she drops her head into her hands sighing "because I'm in omega"she mumble into her hands. I growl at that and kneel in front of her, my wolf and I both outraged that she thinks she's in omega. I cup her face making her look and me "you. Are. Not. In. Omega." I growl out "you are my mate and the moon goddess would not have chosen you if she didn't think you could be the only one to control me. You. Are. Mine. My. Mate. Now get up and let's finish this run together" I get up and give her my hand to help her up "now come on" I say smiling at her.

She smiles back softly and takes my hand but in stead of standing she pulls me forward so I land on top of her with a grunt. She giggles and wraps her arms around my neck as I put my hands on either side of her head to hold myself up "ohh so u think its funny huh" I growl playfully in her ear. She shivers and giggles into my neck. "I do" she whispers

I smirk and say "hold on tight" she Wraps her legs around my waist and arms tight around my neck  And I run back to the pack house
