Chapter 1: A Friend of A Cavendish

Ah the Luna Nova magic academy! The most highly esteemed witch academy in the world!

Home to the greatest up and coming witches of the generation!

Hannah: Diana is miraculous!

And also home to the one and only Diana Cavendish! A young prodigy in the world of magic.

Barbara: I don't even know why they bother trying to let Akko study here.

And maybe the not so greatest.

Diana: She is still learning. And it is a shame that Miss Kagari cannot let go of this childish obsession.

With such high standards, the Cavendish family normally looked down on such childish manners and demanded only the best.

All throughout Diana's life she was kept away from others out of the fear it would distract her too much.

A decision that the young Cavendish always was against.

~~A Few Years Earlier~~

Young Diana: But why?!

Daryl: What do you think I mean? Mingling with such common people is not in our nature! You are a Cavendish! Imagine what your mother would think!

Diana was around 10 at the time and still didn't like when her mother was mentioned.

Sadly she lost her and was left with her aunt and cousins.

Daryl: One day you will be the head of this house, and you will understand!

The young girl ran off to her room, distraught at what her aunt had told her.

Young Diana: What happened all of a sudden that I can't see you?!

She wasn't talking to anyone in particular, but to a picture of her and a friend.

A boy that she had met in her early years and made friends with.

Over time it grew into one of those friendships you would think would last a lifetime.

But now that was disappearing, fast.

And the young Diana couldn't do anything about it.

Hannah: Diana? Are you alright?

Snapping out of her thoughts, the Cavendish turned to her friend who asked the question.

Diana: Yes Hannah. I'm fine.

Barbara: You seemed to zone out there for a second.

She looked at the pair and then out the window.

Diana: Just..... remembering.

This wasn't normal for her.

She was always so concentrated on her studies, this was something important.

M/N: I'll be back in a few hours Y/N! Make sure you don't burn the house down!

The front door closes and I am left on my own.
