SCP-17296 aka The Petals Tea aka Cornflower

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-17296 is to be contained within a standard humanoid domicile with two nearby patches of land nearby one must always be in a state of disrepair

Behavior: while SCP-17296 is relatively harmless and in most cases actually beneficial it is classified as Euclid due to that it wonders off and heads towards either a patch of land were nothing can grow or to a patch of land that has been poorly taken care of SCP-17296 will then sit on the ground (even if it is harmful such as with the ground being extremely irradiated) SCP-17296 will then pull a small blue petal which seems to be that of a cornflower from each of its eyes it will then lick the petals before pushing them into the ground the land around SCP-17296 will then heal and sprout flowers most notably blue cornflowers and red poppies these flowers known as SCP-17296-1 and SCP-17296-2 respectively have extraordinary effects but only when properly prepared by or under the supervision of SCP-17296

Description/Image: human like in appearance appears to be from New Zealand and around 17 to 19 years old gender is indeterminable eyes have pale blue iris, milky white pupils and permanently bloodshot sclera however they usually function as normal though sometimes there are bouts of blindness and pinhole vision scans have shown there are etchings of flowers and vines on all of her bones sometimes these etching will glow and somehow give the illusion of intricate bioluminescent markings on the skin the glow is a pleasant light blue with accents of a vibrant red

Abilities: can revive and heal dead or damaged land, can grow cornflowers and poppies better than most, seems to be able to hear the plants around them, can prepare special liquides with the plants they grow, cant sleep and only suffers from two ill effects caused by sleep deprivation, some sort of bioluminescence

Significant Tests:

Test 1: SCP-17296 is asked to prepare and brew SCP-17296-1 which is the most plentiful flower created by SCP-17296 into a liquid

Result: SCP-17296 produced what seemed to be a mixture of normal corn whisky and cornflower tea however when drank it fixes physical internal imbalances, cures sprains sores and dislocations

Test 2: a researcher makes the liquid with SCP-17296-1 on his own

Result: while the liquid did seem the same but did not cause the same reactions it was simply a mixture of tea and whisky this led to the discovery that SCP-17296 had to be supervising and guiding the process at least for the anomalous traits of the liquid to be present

Test 3: SCP-17296 is asked to prepare SCP-17296-2 into a liquid

Result: the liquid was a poppy seed tea with hints of lemon though it is unknown where the lemon came from when drank it gives a sense of refreshment, brief but extreme euphoria as well as extreme mental improvement for those who suffered from sleep disorders due to the euphoria there is the possibility of this liquid to be addictive

Test 4: SCP-17296 is asked to prepare and brew a liquid using both SCP-17296-1 and SCP-17296-2

Result: the liquid produced seems to be a mixture of corn whisky, cornflower tea, poppy seed tea, and lemon that give off a sickly sweet scent which has been described as a mixture of lavender, oleander, hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen sulfide, and almonds. when catching a glimpse of their reflection in the liquid subjects reported a sense of unease one subject even was recorded going into a full on panic stating over and over ¨it not safe the smell that [EXPLICIT] smell its helping the reflection grow¨ eventually when a d-class drank the liquid they collapsed their bones started to break and grow creating crooked spirals after the d-class was terminated SCP-17296 had gone into a catatonic state which they have not fully come out of since when talking with an on site therapist SCP-17296 speaks of daymares with crooked spirals laughing and mocking them while treatment is ongoing SCP-17296 has started moving, eating and drinking again however they have been diagnosed selective mutism after the trauma and it takes quite a while for SCP-17296 to become comfortable talking with new people

Discovery: Originally a d-class who had been a runaway who was on death row after attacking and killing some influential businessman in self defense during an experiment with SCP-294 D-4916 requested a cup of awakening which caused D-4916 to be unable to sleep ever again D-4916 was reclassified as SCP-17296 once their cell mate reported a blue and red glow as well as flower buds growing anywhere they could in the cell it was also noted that the only parts of extreme sleep deprivation SCP-17296 experiences are muscles spasms and visual impairment

Origin: it is unknown where exactly SCP-17296 came from though an old abandoned home in New Zealand is currently the foundations best guess when asked about why there were no papers on SCP-17296 they stated that their parents kept them hidden something about being embarrassed by them it is assumed that they had always had their abilities but was unable to fully access them before

Snippet: i imagine Cornflower would get along with Cain (SCP-073) as i think their abilities with plant life would sorta cancel each other out creating a level of normalcy in that respect (for those who dont know when Cain comes in contact with plant life or fertile land it withers dies and becomes barren)
