"Are you out of your mind Lee Seoho?!" Youngjo exclaimed. He couldn't really suggest to Youngjo that he have a secret affair on the day he will meet his betrothed. It was outrageous and insulting to even suggest it to him. Youngjo had a duty to uphold, for both nations. The peace treaty was in effect yes, but the people didn't fully believe that both nations were truly at peace. Rather everyone from both nations were on edge the longer that the peace treaty was in effect. No one had any faith in the peace. Which was the main problem at hand. Both nations needed a solution to this dilemma, and that solution was marriage between the nations. An agreement that would lead to the peace and the future of their country.
"I know that it sounds ridiculous and I admit it isn't the smartest decision that I, your best friend suggest to you, but you are miserable my friend. Even if it is only for one night, or rather for one hour, you can be happy for a little piece of time. You can choose someone that doesn't know who you are. No one has to know," Seoho said seriously to Youngjo. Youngjo knew where Seoho's intentions lied, he knew how hard it was for Seoho to even bring this up to Youngjo. He knew that Seoho meant the best for him. Seoho grew up with Youngjo, as his cousin, Seoho always had the best intentions at heart for Youngjo. As Youngjo was the crown prince, he bore the weight of taking over the kingdom once his father stepped down from the throne. Which meant that Youngjo never had time for himself. He was always mimicking and shadowing his father's footsteps. He was groomed into becoming the perfect crown prince at such a young age.
Youngjo sat down on the bed of his suite in the North's palace. He was here to visit and be introduced to his betrothed Son Dongju of the North Nation, not to go on a random hookup with a complete stranger. "Even if I managed to have this supposed one night stand with a random person, what if they realise who I am and let's out my secret?" Youngjo brought up his argument. Seoho knew that it was basically impossible for them to avoid such a disaster, but only time would tell what may happen.
"I have prepared for that situation, do not worry Youngjo." Seoho lied with the best of intentions. "I have prepared a suit that you may wear to disguise yourself in. No one has to know that you are the crown prince of the South Nation." Seoho held up a navy blue suit in accordance with his previous statement. "Look Youngjo, wear the suit and head downstairs. Even if you don't find anyone who may want to have a random hookup with you, you can say you gave it a go and go back to your duty to the South Nation. Again no one will know but you and me." Seoho promised Youngjo.
Youngjo stared at Seoho, heart wavering. He knew that this was a bad idea on so many levels, but Seoho made him so curious. He was intrigued by the idea even if it went against his better judgment. He wanted some kind of freedom before he was to be tied down forever to a total stranger. And why not a stranger he chose than one he never even met? Decision made, Youngjo took the suit from Seoho's outstretched hand and went to change. Youngjo just hoped that he was not going to make a mistake that he would later come to regret.
