Chapter one:Where it all began

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world! Hand in hand with the love of my life.Wait wait wait,I'm getting too ahead of myself,here's a brief introduction of myself and my country,My name is Kaylyn Bellamy and I live in the country of Fraylor,which if you didn't know,is where,when a child turns 16 years of age shall be forced to get married with someone with the same date of birth,and for me that's Arden Eldred.🤢.
Now you may be thinking "why not just run away or just simply say no?"well you see if a couple refuses to get married they will "mysteriously Disappear " yet we all know what really happens,and with running away,The government has cameras everywhere and when everywhere,I mean there EVERYWHERE,the government can even see when your picking your nose,and so if you run away your surely to get caught and then bam!!!!you have the same fate and "mysteriously disappear"
Now you may be wondering why I put a "🤢" when I mentioned Arden,well you see ,hmm how do I explain this,ahh yes,he's is a PAIN IN MY BUTT,and has been all throughout childhood.Him and I have VERY Different personalities and have VERY Different appearances ,I LOVE to read and write,and just staying home with a warm cup of tea and just relax,I'm also very short,5'1 to be exact,yea I know I'm short,I also dark brown eyes with light brown skin.And Arden oh Arden he is what you say a "Jock" his interests include but are not limited to Football,Basketball,Soccer,Baseball,Reading!!!!!!comic books 😒,and last but not least GIRLS,who are NOT me.Now I'm not being Selfish and I Most certainly DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON ARDEN.I just don't want him to get us KILLED for his dumb actions,And the girls are just as dumb as he is as I've even herd girls say he's "SO DREAMY" in the halls,it makes me sick, I don't know what they see in him.Now you may be thinking what dose he look like well he is 5"11 with black hair and very light skinned with light brown eyes,ugh,why do I hate Arden you may be think,let's take a trip down memory lane shall we,it all started 15 years ago on February 14,yup that's right my birthday is on Valentine's Day,anyways back to what we were saying,15 years ago our moms gave birth to us,a little backstory about our moms we the BESTS OF FRIENDS they did everything together,even getting pregnant at the same time just so there kids would get married,little did my mom know I would end up HATING ARDEN.My Mother died during Childbirth,and My Father had to raise me all on his own even tho Mrs.Eldred would come and stop bye to make sure I was ok and would always drop off some warm Chicken Noodle Soup,my father got really depressed after my mother died,and the day after my 12th birthday he took his own life,and so after I moved in with my grandmother,but I still couldn't wrap my mind that both of my parents were dead,and Arden wasn't much help,
The Whole Bulling situation with Arden started in the very first day of Elementary school,I remember this day like it was yesterday,was in my school uniform,in my pigtails eating oatmeal,by myself,when all of a sudden I felt like someone had
thrown up of me ,that's when I realized Arden had just dumped his plate of oatmeal all over my head, and before I could comprehend what he just did he yells out "EVERYONE LOOK!KAYLYN GOT THROWN UP ON" and everyone in the room started laughing as I ran crying,to the bathroom,humiliated,and if you think that the worst you ain't seen nothing yet.He would later on do stuff that to some people would be unforgivable.Fast forward a few year,when a child turns 12 years of age ,the person they shall have to marry is drawn from of all things a cooking pot? Anyways this took place the day after my father's death and I was barely holding it together,and when they called Ardens name that's when I lost it.I started BAWLING on stage unable to keep in my emotions.
Now fast forward even more,to a MONTH?!before the BIG WEDDING,Arden and I as usual are fighting and screams at each other over this stupid wedding,it's so bad that his mom had to come into the room to tell us we were being to loud,However we still continued fighting,about how we hate each other how,how could this have happened,and believe it or not we were fighting about with flowers we were going to choose,and somehow we got to the topic of who we wished we could marry,when all of a sudden Arden yells the words I will never forget,he's yells"IM IN LOVE WITH KAYLIN AMBERLYNN!!!!" "MY EX BEST FRIEND?!!!!" I shout! "How could you" I say in a sad tone.Then for the first time ever,the room was silent,as we look into each other's eyes,we know.WE ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY CANNOT GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!
