Y/n laughed to herself as she continued to text in the group chat. After a little while longer, she checked the time and realized it was already 10:45. She dismissed herself from the chat to get ready for bed. She also muted it in the process, not wanting to get the endless notifications.
Y/n got up and showered, brushed her teeth and hair, washed/took care of her skin, and went back into her bedroom. She crawled under her covers and closed her eyes, slowly falling asleep...
Well, that's what she was hoping what happened but in reality, she couldn't sleep at all. Over the last year, Y/n has never been able to properly sleep and get more than 5 hours of sleep. A lot of the times, nightmares would take over her dreams forcing her out of sleep, other times she just straight up could not sleep.
It sucked for Y/n because she really was really exhausted most of the time but, she just couldn't bring herself to actually drift off and sleep.
After her endless attempts to toss and turn to get into a comfortable position, she ended up on her back staring up at the ceiling. Her mind started to fill with many thoughts consisting of school, her friends, the future, and unfortunately him.

The way he treated her, controlled her, ruined her, and much more. All the memories flashed through her head. Y/n really wanted them to just stop but she didn't know how to do so. Tears started welling up in her mind as his face was right in front of hers, it felt so real.
Suddenly, the screen of her phone lit up causing all her attention to move towards the device. She picked it up, squinting a bit at the brightness.
