Her apartment is a work in progress, with a couch in the living room, a few stools near the kitchen island, and a desk and bed in her bedroom. She disconnects her floo from Malfoy Manor, and sits down, laptop in one hand, and Scorpius in the other.

She spent the past hour teaching Niffy how to work the kitchen, and now the little elf hums happily as she stirs something in a pot, teetering at the edge of the stool Auryn gave her to stand on so as to reach the counter. She quickly orders a crib and basic baby necessities for Scorpius, having got the hang of using muggle technology while in house arrest. Scorpius shifts in her arm, and she tilts her body so as to give him a better place to sleep on. Unfortunately, until the crib arrives, there's not really another option.

Her elf informs her that she's running out of groceries, and conjures up a baby sling for her to hold Scorpius in. Auryn sets off to the grocery store, her footsteps echoing in the peaceful muggle neighbourhood.

Scorpius looks about with wide eyes as he takes in the unfamiliar atmosphere of the grocery store, his arms flailing about as Auryn drops items into her cart.

Something collides against her legs, and she stumbles, leaning against her cart for support.

"Ted!" Potter scrambles into her aisle, and freezes at the sight of the blue haired boy cowering behind Auryn's legs.

"Malfoy? What're you doing in my neighbourhood?"

"I wasn't aware you owned the neighbourhood, Potter." She says icily, and Potter seems to flounder for words.

"No.. that's not what I- goddamnit," he stutters, his face an interesting shade of pink.

"You used a no-no word, Harry." The boy drawls in a sing song voice behind her legs. Scorpius, intrigued by the unfamiliar face, reaches out for the boy's hair.

Potter seems to snap out of a daze, his eyes narrowing at Teddy.

"Apologise. Now." He orders, and Auryn's surprised.

"Sorry," the boy mumbles, and Scorpius gurgles, making Teddy smile.

"It's fine Potter, he just wasn't looking where he was going." She dismisses, before readjusting her sling. "Besides, I was just teasing you earlier. I live in the neighbourhood."

He starts to say something, but is quickly interrupted by Teddy running out of the store.

"Oh, for Merlin's sake," he curses, running after the blue haired boy whose laughter echoes in the street. "I'll see you around, Malfoy."

She nods, and watches him take off into the street, easily overpowering the young boy. He tosses Teddy into the air, and the boy's squeals echo as they walk back home.

And Auryn's left with a peculiar feeling in her chest, alone save for a drooling baby and a cart full of groceries.
