The Depth Meaning of Life

In the beginning,
I lived peacefully
in my own dark shell.
Considering,
the green grass and leaves
dancing with the rhythm of the wind;
beautiful flowers blooming
along with the sunshine;
and butterflies hovering
over the garden;
as my home and my perfect world.

But later, I've realised that
there was something missing in me.
For I did jot fathom the
essence of true happiness
nor realise the beauty of love and life.

So, I decided to leave my dark shell.
Uncaring the fear to plunge into
the other side of life.
Thinking that it is a world full of risks,
hardships, tricks, and chaos.

Starting my life into the real world
was lime a huge elephant
trying to enter the hole of a needle.
It was so hard dealing with the world,
who treated me like a trash,
who dumped and rejected me
like a dirty old rag,
and who prejudged me based from my appearance.

That's the time I become envious!
I was hopeless!
I was like a drifting wood,
nowhere to go!
Perhaps, except just to be alone
and raising some questions to God,
where my tears flow boundlessly
like a running water in a river.

After a moment of darkness,
the stars suddenly twinkling bright above me.
Realising the depth meaning of life.

That life is not just about
living it for yourself
and be perfect all the time.
It is about living your life for God
and for other people.

Accepting your flaws
and use your strengths
in order to serve and love them.
