Vengeful Soldier (Attack on Titan X Male Reader)

A/n I've recently re fell back in love with AoT. So here's this I hope you will enjoy?

There was once a family that lived inside wall Maria, in the Shinganshina district. This family consisted of mother father and a 10 year old boy known as (Y/n). This boy was a very excitable and friendly child though, his friendly nature made him a target for bullies. He had just come back with his mother from picking up groceries, he loved going and running chores for his mother he just enjoyed spending time with her especially since his father being a soldier in the Garrison regiment was often working leading to very seldom times that he would actually be home. Although when (Y/n) came home to an interesting sight, his father with three other kids.

They all seemed disheveled and dirty. Like they had been by themselves for quite a long time. Dad had then begun to explain that he found the three in one of the buildings outside the wall. He decided to bring them in to save them from what would eventually be utter death at the hands of the titans. (Y/n) was quick to introduce himself to the three.
(Y/n):"Well my names (Y/n) what's your guys' names?"
They seem surprised by his excitement and happiness. They don't know how to respond but the blonde boy would find his voice.
Reiner:"I'm Reiner Braun. These two are Bertholdt Hoover and Annie Leonhardt."
(Y/n):"It's great to meet you three!"
His dad quickly interjects.
Dad:"Hey son. How bout you show these three around the city and then play around in the field."
(Y/n):"Ok! Follow me!"
Reiner seemed to be completely on board as he followed behind (Y/n) very quickly, the other two soon followed though at a slower pace. There was silence in the room between both parents the mom looks to the dad and asks.
Olivia:"So... What the hell are we supposed to do now?"
James:"What was I supposed to do leave them there?"
Olivia:"Yes. We can barely afford the little shit we have now."
-Meanwhile with the kids-
(Y/n) was excitedly showing them around though the only one into it to start was Reiner. The other two seemed so quiet that he actually stopped and asked.
(Y/n):"Did I do something wrong?"
Bertholdt and Annie:"What?"
(Y/n):"I know sometimes I'm a bit much. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you guys feel uncomfortable. I'm just not used to having friends. We can go back now."
They watched him with shock as he had a complete shift as if he was just trying to keep a happy face for appearances. He looked so dejected and sad, they could also tell the discoloration around one of his eyes.
Annie's thoughts:"Does he have a black eye?"
His eyes actually had a reddish glint to them, when the light hit them they looked red otherwise they looked brown. Though at the moment it seemed like he was gonna cry. Now these three were at a complete loss as they watched the excitable boy breakdown before them. Bertholdt was the first one to say something.
Bertholdt:"We're sorry. It's just a lot to take in. We've never really been inside, our families lived outside these walls. Please do keep showing us around."
At this he looked to them happily before asking.
(Y/n):"Really?"
At this Annie nodded which caused the other two to smile and do the same. Seeing him hurt seemed to bother the three greatly. He showed them the rest of the city at least the parts they could go to. Though they eventually went back home to see some of the things thrown around to see his dad was drinking. The three seemed a little shocked though (Y/n) seemed unfazed and headed off to his bed which was off in his own room, there wasn't much besides that.
They watched him crawl into his bed, it wasn't long before they all followed suit used the same bed. Though Annie tossed and turned the entire night before sneaking outside only see that (Y/n) was sitting on the roof. Her curiosity would get the better of her as she decided to climb up to the roof to see what he was doing. He was just sitting there looking up at the sky. Thus she sat next to him and asked.
Annie:"Why are you looking at the sky?"
(Y/n) a little shocked for one her sneaking up there and two she hadn't yet said a full sentence until now.
(Y/n) just simply says.
(Y/n):"I'm looking at the stars."
Annie:"Why?"
(Y/n):"Because it tells me the world is so much bigger than these walls. There is a whole world out there. I just want to grow up to see what's out there, that's why I'm gonna join the scouts. Don't tell mom or dad though, they would be very displeased."
Annie lets the silence hang before she asks very abruptly.
Annie:"(Y/n), do they hurt you?"
There is silence before he answers with a sad response.
(Y/n):"Sometimes."
Annie felt bad as she watched his hopeful face fall into sadness this caused her to scoot closer, still leaving a gap between the two before saying.
Annie:"I'm sorry I didn't mean to ruin your mood."
Her voice was deadpan but her words were genuine. This caused (Y/n) to say.
(Y/n):"It's ok Annie. I just try to not think about it."
There is more silence before he asks.
(Y/n):"Well what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Annie looks confused and begins to think before saying.
Annie:"I guess I could join the military like you. I've never really thought about it."
(Y/n):"I mean you don't have too if you don't want to."
She looks to him surprised before he tells her.
(Y/n):"You don't have to be a warrior if you don't want to. You can be whatever you want."
She looks to see him smiling brightly as he said this. She suddenly felt very conflicted before watching as (Y/n) climbed back down to go to bed. Leaving Annie on the roof alone with her thoughts.
-Two years later-
The three became very close over the two years with each other. Though sometimes they would clash (Y/n) was often what brought them together. Though this would also mean they would watch the progressively more brutal abuse of (Y/n). It was often times hard to watch though they soon begun to realize it wasn't at the hands of the father. On this day it was actually really severe causing (Y/n)'s head to suffer a very gnarly gash on the side of his head. This actually knocked him unconscious, when he cane to he was on a ship with Annie and a bunch of other citizens. He soon jumped up and looked at a peculiar looking Titan that had just broke the inner wall.
