Tokyo.

Geographically, its 493 kilometers from Kyoto - their hometown. The place where they basically know everyone on their street and where they can have the security by the familiarity of the places and the customs.

Having been promoted from their jobs at the Tokyo HQ of their architectural company, Jun and Sayo's parents decided it was time for them to move and leave their hometown to start a new life in the heart of Japan. There will be better opportunities for their kids' education anyway. Kokusai High, and Tokyo University. Not that they're pressuring their children to be a slave of education(they're just 10 years old!). Just for them to be ready for anything that the kids may want.

Jun was so excited for the coming change of their lives. He kept on telling his friends his plans upon moving to the bigger city. How he can contact them and what he'll send them if he comes visit them back. Sayo - on the other hand, was not happy at all. I mean, to be honest, she's not good at adjusting to new environment and sucks at making friends. She only has 1 friend in her entire daycare and 4 years in elementary! That's 6 years of school life and she only got 1 friend. On the other hand, her twin got almost all of their batch friends with him.

The ride from Kyoto to Tokyo was unexpectedly quiet. Jun was knocked out sleeping, his excitement from the night before kept him awake all night. Sayo was able to stay awake for the first half of the trip. She wanted to have a look of Kyoto before leaving it, possibly forever. And yes, she is going to visit from time to time. But she knows it won't be the same as before.

"You're going to love it there, baby." her mom told her from the passenger's seat. She looked at her and found her mom turned to face her. That kind of made her teary-eyed. They must've noticed that she might have been scared from the changes they were making. "Daddy and I will make sure it will feel like home back in Kyoto. So don't worry too much, okay?" her mom added. She painted a small smile on her lips and nodded. She might not show it too much but that did make her feel a little better. She slowly drifted to sleep soon after.

Tsukasa was busy writing the names of the Cleaning Day Team on the board when Youka, their class secretary, entered the room with a super excited expression on his face.

"We have new classmates!" he exclaimed

From that, his classmates erupted in awe, excitement and curiosity. Who, how many, where they came from. All these questions were coming from everywhere. Tsukasa only smiled while watching them. After finishing his task, he returned to his seat and listened to their chitchat from there.

"So this is what I've heard from Miss Mizuki earlier. They're from Kyoto and they're twins. Isn't that amazing?! I haven't seen a twin before."

"Have you been living a rock?"

"Oh whatever, I mean up close! Read between the lines, Yuri!"

"You clearly said you haven't seen a twin before, Youka."

The others left them bickering. For being with those two childhood friends for 5 years, they've learned to better let them rip each other's head off than interfere.

"Okay, to your seats, everyone." Mizuki, their adviser, said as she entered the room. It's the start of their 5th year in elementary so she was just carrying a clear jar with colorful paper on it and her attendance book. She settled on her seat in front of the class and looked around, smiling. "How is everyone?"

At that, a collected replies of "we're fine, or we're good, we're excited to meet our new classmates" came. She was so endeared by that.

"I see that you already got the word, huh?" she said, in a kidding tone while looking for Youka - who, by the way covered his face with his book. All she could do was shook her head, smiling. Then she opened the order, revealing a boy and a girl. She let them in the room and made them stood with her at front. Both have black, wavy hair - and that's where their similarities end. Jun had light brown eyes and they were smiling with his lips. Sayo had those beautiful black eyes which seems to be emitting either a cold expression or none at all. Her lips were small and as almost frowning from looking at the new crowd. Her skin is fairer than her brother, but not that much. She looked around and honestly, she's scared to death. So many new faces - and they're smiling. Why are they smiling? Especially that one person at the back beside the window. All of them looks so friendly and Sayo IS FREAKING OUT. Jun slowly reached for her left hand and gave it a light squeeze. He surely knows when she needs it the most.

c@ (Tanaka Jun)

c@ç¢ (Tanaka Sayo)

-is what Mizuki-sensei wrote on the board. Their classmates were in awe. Both beautiful in the flesh and even with their names. (Jun means genuine and Sayo means bloom world).

"Jun and Sayo are from Kyoto. They just moved her last week so please be kind and help them feel at home in their new school."

"Yes, Miss Mizuki!"

"Jun, Sayo, you can seat beside Tsukasa over there." she told them, pointing at Tsukasa, the boy at the back beside the window whom Sayo find the weirdest from the class because he kept his eyes on her since earlier.

Tsukasa, being the sweet boy as always, stood up and waved kindly to the twins. Jun, still holding Sayo's hand, led the way.

"Hello, nice to meet you!" Jun greeted, extending his left hand. Tsukasa took it and shook his hand.

"Hello, Tanaka. I'm Yamamoto Tsukasa. Nice to meet you." he told him, then took a peek of Sayo behind Jun, and waved at her. "Hello."

She just stared at him, like she was saying, "You're supposed to show us where we can sit."

Jun glanced at her and lightly shook his head. She almost sighed, and replied with a monotone.

"Hi, nice to meet you, too."

That made Tsukasa smile even more. There were two seats available. One was beside him and the other is in front of his seat. Jun took the one beside him and Sayo took the other. They settled in. She looked back at her twin and Jun smiled at her, reassuringly. That gave her courage somehow. She took a deep breath and faced front again, thinking:

"I can do this."
