Chapter 4-The Total Jerk..

'Why the hell did he do that??'

Scarl asks as they move out of the 'Environmental Studies' lecture-room,heading towards the girls' dormitory.

'What did he do?'

'Al,what do you mean by what did he do?

When that asshole,I mean that new-admission went up to him and started kissing him as if the only oxygen left on the planet was stored right there,he kissed her with equal passion and when the lecturer entered the class,he broke apart and asked her to take her filthy ass away from him.The girl was embarrassed like hell and I'm sure is still shedding oceans and seas of tears in the washroom and you ask what did he do????????'

'Oh,Scarl!

You don't know that guy.

I personally feel that the girl's at fault.She should've first found out all about him. '

'I don't get you,Al!'

'Okay,let me explain it to you then.

He joined the Faraday Middle School,the previous year,an year after you had left ,and all the girls went bananas over him.You see,not only is he damn good-looking but is an excellent soccer player and amazing captain.He was the Soccer Team Captain for the Faraday Middle-school as well.

But the guy didn't encourage anyone,not even other guys who just wanted to befriend him.

And if someone would try getting really close to him, would force themselves upon him, despite the cold shoulder he gave to anyone and everyone,he would embarrass them in public,humiliate them in such a way that I'm not surprised that many of his victims have left the town.Just like he did to that girl today when she threw herself upon him without a warning.'

'Bloody hell!The guy's a total jerk.No wonder he left without an apology the day.'

'But don't you think he has got a point? I mean the people who force themselves onto others should be punished .They seem so disgusting at times.

'Yeah,they do,Al!

But that doesn't give you the license to torture them like that!!!!!'

'You've got a point,too...

And Scarl, though you clarified it during lunch that you aren't interested in that guy, I am just warning you to stay as far away from him as possible!! '

'Of course ,I will!

But I just wanna know how the hell does he humiliate guys?

You know,just to be careful that I don't give him any chance to humiliate me.'

'You're not a guy,Scarl!'

Alison says suddenly having started to giggle.

'Ugh..

But I'm not gonna pounce on him for kisses and stuff like that,so he won't be able to humiliate me that way and will use the means he does on guys.So,will you tell me,now??'

'Yeah,okay!

I don't know how on earth he does that but he finds out the most humiliating thing about the person who does the unforgiveable mistake of trying to befriend him and spills the beans in public view.'

Alison replies,now having stopped giggling.

'Oh!'was all Scarlett says before Alison speaks up again.

'Scarlett,you don't need to worry at all,okay!

Just don't interfere in his matters and maintain distance!'

'Yeah! I'll definitely do that!'

Scarlett thinks about her secret,the secret she can't afford to have spilled,especially not in public view,and firmly resolutes  to stay a metre away from that guy in the least.

'Good,and I've got this algebra test tomorrow ,Scarl so I'm gonna rush to DD's room now so that we can both study for it together 'Alison speaks up,bringing Scarlett back to the present .

'Cool!

I've got to study,too..

And best of luck,Al!

Study well!!'

'Thanx,see you at dinner!'

They have a quick hugging session before Scarlett rushes towards her room and Alison towards DD' s room.

Just as Scarlett starts really getting into studies,her phone rings.

Groaning,she gets up and answers, after picking it up from the bed-side table

'Hmm,hello?'

'Hey,kiddo!'

'Mum!'

'Yes,what's my princess doing?'

'Mum,I'm trying to study,now.Can't we talk tomorrow?'

'Okay!

I,anyway,just had to say that I've planned a birthday surprise for you which you'll be getting in the Principal's office tomorrow morning, so be there at 8 in the morning.'

Scarlett suddenly feels a gush of adrenaline running through her body.

All willingness to continue studying gone.

Her family is filthy rich and not only are their gifts expensive but very thoughtful and tomorrow is her birthday.She had almost forgotten that!!So that means she's gonna get something great .

But,hang on!

She starts thinking logically now that the excitement starts to wear off.

How can she get something great in the Principal's office?

She voices out her thoughts,'Mum,thanx,I'm really excited!!But I can't see why the Principal has to be involved?'

'Oh,honey!

Dont you worry,it's something you will definitely love.

Study well!

Call me back whenever you're free.

Bbbye!!'

With that her mom hangs up,leaving Scarlett to study but all she can do is guess what the amazing birthday present is going to be.
