“Oh. Inuyasha, Kagome, and (M/n) and his little brother had returned you say,” Kaede said in shock, that she didn’t see the four as she was making her rounds, only to shake her head when she heard what came out of the farmer’s mouth. “Yes, Kaede-sama, but...from the moment they came back...they rushed off towards the Bone Gobbling well.”
Kaede could only shake her head, wondering when they would stop doing this.
With Inuyasha and the crew
“Just you fucking wait, Kagome!! You won’t get away, you bitch!!” Inuyasha yelled after the girl, who was riding her bike as fast as she could, before the Hanyou could catch up to her. During this, the brotherly duo were walking to the well, not really caring about what was happening.
“So, who do you think would make it there first, this time?” Marshy asked the (h/c)ette, who tilted his head side to side as if to show that he was thinking. “Eh, I don’t know this time. It looks like it will be a close race this time,” the Magician said as he waved his hand as if to say that it’s not his problem.
The brotherly duo noticed that they had lost sight of the bickering duo, so they decided to run faster and made it to the well, just in time to see the hanyou holding a boulder over the well as if he was about to smash it. Thankfully before Inuyasha could go through with that action, Kagome used the magical words and caused him to faceplant the ground with the boulder landing on top of him.
“I guess Kagome won today,” the (h/c)ette said as he and his brother jumped into the well after the modern Miko, who had jumped in as soon as the boulder fell on Inuyasha. “Yeah. I wonder when the witch would finally lose for once,” Marshy said as their surroundings change into a purplish, pinkish space, before it disappears showing the well walls again.
“Pft! Why do you like a drowned rat!?” the Modern demon held in a laugh as he and his brother finally appeared in the modern era and saw that Kagome was still in the well, but this time was wet for some reason. “Oh shut up,” Kagome growled at the small demon, who stuck his tongue at her, as she tried to dry herself the best she could before she could get a towel.
“Oi, Kagome, don’t be mad that my adorable little brother was telling the truth,” (M/n) butt in the convernation, and like always taking his brother’s side. The Miko could only sigh out of annoyance at the (h/c)ette, who was shrugging his shoulders as if to say don’t hate the player, hate the game.
After their small argument, the trio climb out of the well and separate for the night. Kagome walked into her house with her Grandpa, the reason why she was wet, and little brother following her inside. While the brotherly duo walk home, the older one gets ready to argue with their mother as soon as they enter the house about who has the best powers in a fight, Squidward or Patrick. While the younger one was ready to watch the argument and maybe help their father make some popcorn for this scene.
The Next day, back at Higurashi Shrine
“Huh? Wow, you’re here early, (M/n). What trick do you want to show me now?” the Miko was surprised that her friend ACTUALLY showed up at her doorstep on time with his little brother in tow, just as she and Sota were about to put on their shoes and leave for school. The Magician made a dramatic gasp as he leaned back as if he was hurt by her words. “Why Kagome, the fact that you think so lowly of me is just mean-”
“This coming from the person, who was two hours late to school and their only excuse was that the first Spongebob movie came on and you had to catch the ending song.”
“...You’re just hating cuz you know that song is good as fuck and you couldn’t catch it that day.”
“The same person who skipped school for a week because someone, quote on quote, gave you 10 dollars.”
“I was poor at that moment and that 10 dollar bill had made me rich.”
Marshy and Sota could only watch as their older siblings argue with each other about the past which shows that the (h/c)ette makes the dumbest decisions. “Tch. We can continue this later, but the reason why I’m here early is to have Marshy meet Sota since they are going to the same school,” (M/n) smirk as he walk behind Marshy and then push the small demon toward Sota, who could only blink at what was happening.
‘This brocon. Sigh, I wonder if he acts like this at home,’ Kagome thought to herself, done with the Magician at the moment as their brothers greet each other. Just as they greeted each other and were about to talk about something, Kagome looked at the time and realised that if they don’t leave now, they will all be late for school.
“Alright, they can talk to each other as we walk, we can’t be late again, (M/n).” the Ravenette stated as she started to push them out the doorway of the house as she yelled out to her mother that they were leaving now. With that done and over with, the four of them basically ran down the stairs, well Kagome, Sota and Marshy did, while (M/n) walked after them, not really caring about being late.
“Eh? It's not like it’s gonna hurt us if we’re late by a few minutes,” the (h/c)ette said as he followed after them, before freezing out of fear when Kagome stopped, turned around and gave him a glare. “Now that I think about it, let’s hurry up! I haven’t seen my underlings for a while, don’t want them to think that one of them can take over!”
