I would have been rich if it was.
I was struck with another inspiration.

Enjoy!)Ash was a boy who grew up in Pallet town with his mother, his Dad was a Ranger who had passed away when he was a baby. His mom always told him stories about how his father was a hero who helped Pokemon out all the time. Ash would listen to her stories with wide eyes and wish he could be a hero too, just like his father had been. When his mom was unable to watch over him, she would ask their neighbor's kid, called Red to watch and babysit him. Ash in all his five year old glory would tell Red the stories his mom told him about his late father and Red would listen amused. His own father was missing and they didn't even know if he was alive or dead.
Red looked at the bright child, 'It doesn't matter.'
The seven year old decided not think about his missing old man as he had Ash with him. Ash was telling him, how he would be a hero just like his father and help people and Pokemon when he grew up. Red indulged him saying he would be a great hero getting a bright grin from the younger boy that made the room lit up. Red could be wrong about the last bit as the evening sun came through the windows lighting up the drawing room.
Red ran around, 'Where are you?'
Delia, "Red, did you see him?"
Red shook his head, 'Where are you Ash?'
Blue, "Where could he have gone?"
Gary, "Big brother, we'll find Ash, right?"
Blue pat his head, "Don't worry baby bro, we'll find him."
Gary looked up nodding before his eyes caught something or rather someone, "ASH!"
Ash had come out of the forest followed by a few Rattatas and Butterfrees, "Thank you for your help."
The Pokemon eye smiled before nuzzling him and flying and scuttling away from there. Delia rushed over and checked Ash over before Gary also ran and hugged him tight. This was followed by Blue and Red who hugged him close before looking him over to make sure he was alright.
Seven year old Ash lifted a gift wrapped in leaves, "Here Red, a gift for your birthday."
The nine almost ten year old wanted to scream, :You put yourself in danger for something like that?:
Ash looked away, "You will be leaving soon and I wanted to give you something special for your birthday tomorrow."
Ash looked up at him, "I couldn't think of anything to get you, so I decided to see if maybe I'll get some ideas in our favorite spot only I got carried away by my curiosity..... Anyway, I got you, your gift. Open it tomorrow?"
Red sighed and nodded before flicking Ash's forehead making him squeak in return. Suffice to say, the seven year old was grounded for a week by his mother. Red's birthday went off without a hitch and although Ash could not stay for long, he stayed long enough to see what presents Red had got. Blue gave Red a new pair of sneakers, Gary gave Red a book on how to care for Pokemon, Leaf gave Red a handmade scarf and Yellow gave Red the healing potion she had been working on. Finally it was time to unpack Ash's gift and Red swears his heart flipped a bit on seeing what was given to him. Ash had found a Pokemon egg for him and poke eggs were very rare to get from a breeder and even rarer to find out in the wild.
Red hugged Ash and signed, :Thank you, I love it.:
Ash beamed happily at the crimson eyed boy and hugged him before leaving for his home. Blue and Leaf would not admit it but their were a little jealous as they looked at Red holding the egg. Yellow and Gary were ecstatic and happily talked about how to care for an egg while the Professor went and came back holding a portable egg carrier. He called it a combined gift between him and Daisy as she was unable to come this year especially with her Grande Festival going on.
