"(y/n)?"
"AH!"
"Oh, I'm sorry to have scared you, I didn't mean for that happen."
"It's alright, do you need something from me Doc?"
I turned around from my desk where I was previously looking at different kinds of rubies. There stood Doc, but for some reason, I couldn't make out their face.
"Do you remember the machine I've been working on?"
"Kinda, it's the one that will 'pray for souls', right?"
"Yes. I finished my design and I'm going to start creating it."
"That's wonderful Doc! I can't wait to see how it'll turn out!"
"Well..."
"Hm?"
"I was wondering if you could help me make it."
"What? Why? I'm a geologist, I don't know how to make machines."
"I know, I know, don't worry. I know that you're a geologist, that's why I want you to help. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that my machine will be involved with rocks of some kind. So, could you please help?"
"Um...alright."
"Thank you! Now come along, I want you to see my design!"

I woke up from a strange dream. It was weird, it was like a look into my past, but unfinished. I remember Doc, but for some reason their face was unknown. I don't remember them ever talking about a machine before, but then again it's like the past few years have been a blur.
I got up from the large bed in my room, I was still wearing that dress the Prince gave to me, although I was barefoot. I walked over to the missing wall and looked out to the ground below me. Before I could make any observations, someone walked into the room.
"Hello there, I hope you are well-rested."
I looked behind me to see the Prince. He looked the same as yesterday; however, he was carrying something in his hands.
"Ah, thank you, I am. May I ask what it is that you are carrying?"
"Of course, these are your clothes for today." He said while setting the small pile on the foot of the bed.
"Oh thank-"
"GRABGLEBELGAR"
We both stood in silence.
Neither of us moved.
"Um, are you-"
Before the Prince could finish his sentence I fell to the ground in embarrassment. How could my stupid stomach betray me like that? I put my hands over my face and almost yelled out an apology.
"I am so sorry! I didn't mean to do that!"
The Prince quickly walked towards me and knelt down to the left of me. He put his hand on my back in a comforting way.
"It's alright it's okay, um, what was that noise?"
"That was my stomach, I'm sorry. I must be hungry or something. Again I'm so sorry."
"It's okay, it's okay. I'll have some food prepared for you. In the meantime, you should get dressed."
"Alright, thanks."
I kept my hands on my face as the Prince left the room. When I heard the door close I slowly got up. After I composed myself from that horrid experience, I walked over to the clothes he had set down on the bed for me.
Just like yesterdays clothes, they were beautiful. I took off the dress I was wearing to replace it with a small white slip dress that went to my knees. I then grabbed a gorgeous see-through white robe and slipped that over the dress, using the fabric belt to tie it in place. The last item was a cute pair of white flats with a small flower design on the front of them. The Prince really knew how to put together an outfit.
Before I walked out of the room I looked back at the missing wall and thought about my dream.
'What was that machine?'
