Emma's POV
I woke up to Deaton calling me. I answered the phone.

em: hello
dr: hello emma, I won't need you to come into work today.
em: why not deaton?
dr: the animal clinic is closed today and tomorrow so send time with your family.
em: okay thank you sir. you too
dr: I will
I hung up the phone and looked at the time being 7am. I sighed and got out of bed after laying Oliver next to me. I walked to the bathroom and went to the bathroom. I finished using the bathroom and went to the kitchen to start breakfast. Anastasia woke up and walked into the kitchen. She sat down at the island.
"Why you up so early?" She asked.
"Deaton called the animal clinic is closed the next two days. I couldn't go back to sleep so I decided to make breakfast." I said.
"Okay well I'm gonna go get Grandma and Grandpa from their hotel and bring them over." She said grabbing her keys.
I nodded an okay and she left. I finished making breakfast as they got back and walked in. They made themselves plates and started eating. I ate breakfast and let Oliver sleep. It was 9am by the time he woke up and ate breakfast. I watched him eat when Grandpa and Grandma sat on the couch and watched TV. I sighed looking at Anastasia. She just shrugged. Oliver finished eating and went to watch TV. I pulled out my phone and decided to text everyone in a groupchat inviting them over for Christmas.

st: yeah.
li: theo and I can't. we have to meet up with Mason and Corey later.

ly: sure I'm down to hang out
pa: why don't the girls have a girls day and the boys have a boys day?
ly: thats a great idea
ana: Emma im sitting right next to you. why did you put me in here?
em: cause lol
st: thats just how she is.
sc: wheres Derek?
dh: I'm right here. I just woke up. Damn! Emma your best friend is hot.
em: I know she is! hype her up!
ph: oh my. anyways Anastasia do you want to hang out today without these teens?
em: ooooo
ana: sure 😳
kss: Derek be quiet, I'm trying to sleep.
dh: sorry baby you just so damn cute!
em: awe
st: okay back to today what are we doing?
em: I like Parrish idea. we all meet here and then decide from there.
