Chapter 2

Scratch that, Schlatt was being the most biggest piss baby known to man-kind. The man was busy muttering about how he was going to get a heart attack due to how tiring and shitty this job was being to his poor health. But what about him was poor? The bitch had a nice ass car. Clay thought he was being over dramatic, though it was understandable because of this. The man had to keep the people calm, and boy were they glad he had a good thing of swaying the people.

"As most of you may know, we got another bombing. Specifically the Nelson's house, which is known politically as one of the best houses. Maria Nelson was walking out of her house around three hours ago, at three AM, going to the front and seeing a package at her doorstep. Intel tells us that she had ordered something the day before and thought it was that. Few minutes later, when opening the package, the house she was in had exploded and then started burning." Jonathan said as he looked towards the group of people who were there.

"We have Dave, Callahan and Paul already checking out the bomb. Luckily for us, we still have some parts of it. Both Rae and Adam have their men right now at the crime scene waiting for us to take lead. They're doing the basics as we speak. Nikita, Sam, Darryl, Alyssa, Caroline and Jude are talking to the people either in custody of the police or at the hospital. Apparently, Mrs. Nelson wasn't alone. Her husband and three children were caught in the crossfire, but only one of the three children was found. We have two missing people, children ranging from 8 to 10, blonde hair, green and silver eyes, freckles and around 54 to 59 inches." Jonathan finished out as he sighed, already looking at his men who were waiting for instructions.

"Clay: William, Karl, Alastair and Phillip are at the crime scene already. I want you to take Luke with you. Alexis will take Zak. You're free to go." He said, the four people being called up getting up and leaving. "Floris, Vikram, and Lannan, we have evidence awaiting for you guys as we speak. George and Becca already did a search on fingerprint and handwriting, go check out the letter and connect it to the rest. Everybody go do your work, if one of them calls for you then go to them as soon as possible. Free to go." Jonathan said, nodding to everyone as Clay and Luke made sure to grab in some things, once prepared they were set to go.

"Another bombing, huh?" Luke asked to his partner in crime, Clay only humming with him. "Don't understand. Last week it was the Lycan's, the week before that it was the Stillinski's. Not to mention the Oprah's and Esperanza's. What is it going to be next week, the Miller's?" He asked to his cousin who sighed and shrugged.

"Don't know man, the only thing we can do is go and check." Luke said, going to the patrol car with Clay on the drivers seat. "Follow us boys~" Alexis playfully flirted out as both playfully gagged, Alexis showing a face of playful pain. "Oh suck my dick." Alexis retorted back, feeling somewhat hurt by their action as Zak snickered. "That's Nick's and Karl's job, not ours." The shorter, louder and tan male replied as the black haired, Hispanic one only rolled his eyes at them. "Har har. Go suck Darryl's dick then." The shorter man said, sticking his tongue out as he got in the driver seat, following Clay and Luke as he stuck out the middle finger on them making the other two laugh tiredly.

Once getting at the crime scene, they saw William and Phillip already looking through everything. "Anything come up?" Clay asked, getting out of his car as William sighed. "Nope. Everything is too burned up, and these bombs keep getting bigger and deadlier. We found some slight things, like the box. We'll be lucky to even gain in some fingerprints." William sighed out, Alastair rubbing his friends back who only hummed.

"We know it's the same as last time. And the person who keeps doing these things goes by an alias named Nightmare. Specifically a devil horn and tail along with the name." Phillip said, Clay snickering as Luke seemed to get what he thought. "Sounds like some avatar name." He muttered out, Alexis and Zak holding back their snickering to agree with them. "Thought so too. Weird thing is, all victims seem to get traumatized or something when getting the bombing, getting nightmares until either therapy, which is long, or killing themselves." Phillip said, the four police officers humming.

"Nice to see you princesses here! Thought I'd be the only man coming!" Came a shout as they turned to face Rachell, also known as Rae, who was walking with Adam, her partner in crime, close behind her. "Nice to see you too." He said, side hugging the chief of police on the other side of the district who hummed. "Any clues from your men?" Clay asked as Rae sighed, shaking her head.

"Brooke got an idea, or lead, but it was quickly closed down two months ago. These bombings are rather odd and random though, but there's always a pattern. Except we can never seem to pinpoint it." The two haired girl said as Clay sighed. "Any suspects or witnesses?" Clay asked as Rae shook her head. "All we got were mail trucks due to it being a package. Maybe some men who were hired and worked some time last night. But it's shut down because of that. Time work, the bomb, and all. Maybe a random truck, but it was night so I'm guessing either no one was up, or they couldn't see the licence plate. And we're right." Clay sighed at Rae giving him the news, he knew she would try and get eye witnesses as soon as possible, but with this being the fifth or so bombing, they had to be quick.

"Okay. We'll try going through some people who might understand it, and we'll try to get some suspects from the targeted. It'll take some time, but we'll do our best. Same to you and your men." Clay said, Rae nodding before going off to Sykunno who seemed to be talking to some random passersby. "Hope you have better luck than we have." Adam said, his deep voice being quiet as both nodded before he left to go with Rae and Sykunno.

"Luke, follow me. We'll talk to Will and Karl. Alexis, I want both you and Zak to look around for a bit. Anything suspicious, grab gloves and put it in as evidence. Meet Phil and Alastair then, we'll talk at the station later when we have things figured out." Clay said, the other two waving goodbye as Luke went with his cousin, looking around at the burned area.

"This is so fucking dark." Luke whispered, Clay nodding alongside his cousin as they both sighed. "Oh yeah, how's Tris and Grayson?" Luke asked, the older one shrugging. "Both are doing fine. Tris is sad about Chris and Lani moving away. But she's doing fine. Heard Toby and Tommy were going to help her feel better. I know she'll be fine with Jack and Mark as well." The dirty blonde said towards the sandy blonde who hummed.

"Clay! You might wanna check this out!" Came a shout as they turned to be met with Rae, William and Alexis who were looking back to Adam, Phil, and Karl. Zak was busy talking to someone near where they stood, but they were looking down at something. "Let's go partner." Luke sighed out, Clay humming as both jogged towards the area.
