It's been a couple of weeks since mine and Candy pop's sleepover. And let's just say... things have been... tense...
Mum and dad have been fighting, killing my headphone battery because I've let Sally use them to drown it out. In the end, me, Sally, Slendrina and S.B stayed at uncle Splendor's house for a while.
After everything calmed down, we slowly went back to dads mansion. That's when they began fighting again, and I snapped.
"Maybe if you spent a little more time with your kids, Chloe, you would know them." Dad said.
"You're one to talk!" I said to him.
"You hardly know us, yourself, so you're a bit of a hypocrite aren't you?" My voice was venomous, but dad knew that I was right.
"Stay out of this Hayley." My mother said, bitterly.
"Fine! Dad, where are your headphones? Sally is using them because you're the reason that she's draining the battery on mine."
"They're in my office."
"Cheers"
And I just grabbed them, gave them to Sally, and walked to Brian's room.
I knocked softly, forcing the salty, bitter tears back.
He opened the door, looked at me and hugged me tightly. He didn't need to say anything. We stood in silence, hugging each other.
"They're still fighting?" He said quietly. I nodded, a small whimper leaving my lips.
He comforted me, and so did Dr. Smiley.
