Protective (Hyewon)

There's a popular and pretty third year at Lore University, which everyone awes over. They even go far shipping her with the observer of dancers. Assuming she's not dating anyone. But what if they found out she was?

"Oh my, Chaewon-unnie, you look prettier today! Did you change up your style? It really suits you!" A first year asks with excitement as other people surround the girl at the desk.

Chaewon sweat dropped as she waved her hand slightly. "N-No, I only put my hair in a ponytail for the first time in a while..."

More people ask her questions or just have an idle chat with her like they're bestfriends. The girl doesn't hate being popular, but she doesn't like it either. It's just too much for her and people are always in her space. What really bothers her is how people ship her with the observer just because of her looks.

"You know, Chaewon-unnie, you and the observer would look cute as a couple. Are you two dating?" A second year asks with curiosity.

The girl shook her head nervously with more sweat drops. "Uhm, w-well-" Chaewon had an anger bottled up in her, but she didn't want to hurt their feelings by correcting them, but little did they know a certain girl was listening in.

That girl came storming into the classroom with a pissed off look that scared most people. The girl pushed through the group and grabbed ahold of Chaewon's wrist, surprising her. "H-Hyejoo...!"

Hyejoo dragged the girl out into the hallway, leaving the group, that was surrounding her desk, In confusion.

"Hyejoo you're hurting me." The girl said with a frown as Hyejoo let go with wide eyes. "Oh! Sorry..." She said as she lowered her head with a sad look.

The blonde noticed what was up and she instantly hugged her girlfriend, burying her face in Hyejoo's chest. "You know I won't go out with the observer just because people ship us together. I love you and only you." The girl smiles and Hyejoo hugs back.

"I know... I just can't stand it when people are assuming your relationship with that moron." A tick mark appeared on her temple as Chaewon slightly pulled away from the hug and laugh.

"You're so cute, Hyejoo." Chaewon giggles as she squished the girl's cheek.

Hyejoo swatted her hand away. She looks away to hid the blush. "C-Come on, let's just go home already." She grabbed ahold of the girl's hand as they walked away from the school ground.

Chaewon blushed and smiled to herself from the small interaction.

The next day, people surrounded the girl and bombarded her with questions about her and the observer when they saw the two talking in the hallway earlier.

Hyejoo was on her way to get her girlfriend and head home with her, but she saw the crowd. She listened in and it seriously pissed her off more the anything.

She pushed through the crowd with the scarier look and was able to stand next to the girl trying to back people up to give more space around the two. Everyone was confused on what Hyejoo was doing.

"Hyejoo-unnie?" Someone in the crowd asks in confusion for everyone.

"You're invading her personal space and making her uncomfortable." The girl said with furrowed eyes.

"So?" One shrugged.

A couple of veins on the girl's temple. "Listen here, you little sh*t heads! Me and Chaewon are already dating so stop asking her about the observer!" she shouted.

"Prove it." Someone dared with smug look.

Hyejoo didn't hesitate to look at Chaewon and plant an aggressive yet passionate kiss on the girl's lip.

The crowd around the two was speechless with shock.

Chaewon kissed back but blushed from embarrassment from other people watching.

After a few seconds, Hyejoo broke away from the kiss and holds the girl by the hip. "Does this prove anything?"

A person in the crowd tsk and soon the crowd dispersed.

The girl looked at the ground with a flushed face. "You didn't have to go that far..." She mumbled.

"If I didn't, they wouldn't believe me and then they wouldn't leave you alone!"

The blonde shyly kisses Hyejoo's cheek. "Thank you for that, Let's go home now." Chaewon smiled with her face still red.

Hyejoo slightly blushes and held hands with Chaewon again.
