Jealousy (Viseul)

Haseul was on her way home from an afternoon run, she spotted a small new café, she saw that they sold pastries and decided to buy croissants for her and Vivi. She jogged to the café, it was fairly busy and gave off a quiet atmosphere.

She looked through the window and saw a familiar orange long hair in the corner of her eyes. She whipped her head to the orange long hair girl to get a clear look and saw Vivi with an unknown girl. The girl was pretty and has long hair.

She wore a black turtleneck that were paired with black skinny jeans.

“Not revealing but not unfashionable either. Something you would wear on date” Haseul muttered. She watched them converse, the girl was laughing and blushing red as Vivi spoke. Haseul couldn’t tell what Vivi’s expression was but her eyes showed slight fondness.

Haseul’s stomach churned with jealousy as she felt her heart ache. She knew Vivi would never cheat on her but she couldn’t hep but frown as she watched them interact. Haseul couldn’t stand watching them anymore so she turned away and ran back to her apartment – which she shared with Vivi.

When she arrived home, she took a shower before laying on her bed. Haseul’s thoughts and insecurities began to invade her head. “What if Vivi was cheating on me? Does she want a breakup with me? Did they kiss?”

Vivi unlocked the door to her house, placing a bag of pastries on the counter. She looked for Haseul in the living room and walked to their bedroom since she wasn’t seen anywhere else.

“Hey Haseul, I bought some pastry if you want some.” She said walking to the bed where Haseul could be seen, scrolling through her phone mindlessly.

Haseul avoided contact, turning the opposite was ignoring Vivi. Vivi was confused, as far as she knew, she hadn’t done anything wrong to hurt Haseul.

“Haseul? Are you ignoring me?” Vivi asked, tilting her head to look at Haseul. She was met nothing, cold silence filling the room.

“I didn’t do anything wrong right?” Vivi asked again, concern evident in her tone. Haseul once again, gave no reply and Vivi began to grow frustrated.

They already agreed to talk everything out so no unnecessary problems would occur and Haseul clearly isn’t doing that.

“Fine. Once you’re done ignoring me and being childish, talk to me” Vivi said, scowling at Haseul before leaving to the living room.

A few hours had passed and Vivi was growing more annoyed. She hadn’t done anything wrong; she was sure of it. She didn’t remember upsetting Haseul so why was she being ignored. Did she unintentionally hurt her.

All these questions gave Vivi a headache, so she walked back up to the bedroom, kicking the door open.

“Okay, what’s wrong?” Vivi demanded. Haseul looking at her angrily but refusing to answer.

“What’s up with you?” Vivi asked, getting impatient at her girlfriend’s refusal to answer.

“What’s up with me? I’m not the one cheating” Haseul snapped, leaving Vivi perplexed.

“Cheating?”

“Don’t play dumb Vivi! I saw you and that girl flirting!” Haseul said angrily.

“My sister?” Vivi asked, wondering how Haseul found out about her.

“I didn’t ask who she- wait your sister, you didn’t tell me you had sister!” Hyunjin shouted glaring Vivi.

“Yes, my sister, I was about to tell it to you tonight but then you started ignoring me” Vivi said, a smile on her face.

“What are you two talking about?” Haseul asked, sitting up to look at Vivi.

“I was teasing her about her fiancé. She got engaged last week.” Vivi explained, laughing softly.

“Engaged? Fiancé?” Haseul spluttered, her face red once she realized she misunderstood everything. Vivi nodded, laying next to the flustered girl.

“So, I just misunderstood everything.” Haseul pouted, looking down. She felt a hand go under her chin, raising her head up so she was forced to look at Vivi.

“Mhm, I would never cheat on you” Vivi said fondly, planting an affectionate and soft kiss on Haseul’s forehead.

“YOU ACTUALLY THOUGHT VIVI-UNNIE WAS CHEATING ON YOU?” Jiwoo wheezed, rolling on the floor from laughter.

“Never knew you could be like that Haseul-unnie” Jungeun laughed, grinning at obviously annoyed girl.

“Shut up before I kill all of you! I just thought she did because-“

“Because you saw her with a girl? Do you think Vivi-unnie cheats on you everytime she’s with a girl, Unnie?” Chaewon asked innocently, tilting her head in confusion. Jiwoo practically howled with laughter, Vivi snickering at Haseul’s embarrassment.

Haseul tried making excuses but failed miserably as everyone teased her.

“I hate you for telling them this Vivi” Haseul muttered weakly.

“No, you don’t.” Vivi teased.
