Monologue
Lana's POV
Where am I? What happened? "Why does my head hurt?" Why's everything black? Why does it smell like fish? Where the fuck am I?
All these thoughts rush to my head as I try to figure out what's going on. Last thing I remember I was out with Ivy. I try to move but I'm constrained, I'm tied up on a chair, hands tied together, eyes blindfolded. What the fuck is happening.
I try moving around to get the blindfold to fall off. I feel the chair start to glide to the left, "Hello" I say out into the unknown, I hear seagulls quake in the distance.......I'm in a fucking boat.

Ivy's POV
It's a chilly Tuesday morning. I get into my ice white mustang and rev up the engine. I lower the window and let the cool air fill into my car.
I turn on the radio to find nirvana playing as I buckle my seatbelt. I grab my black sunglasses from my cup holder and put them on as I accelerate the car.
I drive as the wind carries my golden brown hair while I make my way to my cafe. I put the car in park and take a deep breath.
I open my sun visor and stare into my cold dark green eyes. I let out a puff and take a good long look at the girl in the mirror.
You got this, get in there and sell some shit to people and let the day end. I reapply my red lipstick and get out of the car.
I walk to the cafe doors as my keys jingle in the palm of my hand. I press the key into the lock and turn until a hear a little click.
I flick on the light illuminating the whole cafe. I throw my keys on the counter and walk to the back to get my apron.
I put my curly golden locks in a loose bun and start to brew up some coffee.
Another day on Coney Island Ave, waiting for a tired old soul to walk in and order a cup of coffee with an eclair.
I sip my mediocre coffee as I look out into the street. I see a dude shouting at a cub driver. What else is new, meaningless conversations with uninteresting people.
People disappoint me and the ones who don't at first end up doing so anyways. I snap out of my head when I hear the doorbell ring throughout the cafe.
"Hey, how are you what can I get you" I say with a forced smile on my face.
"Give me a minute will ya I just fuckin walked in" the tall stranger answers back with attitude.
Well that's New York for you I say to myself.
"Get me a large cup of black coffee and I'll take a blueberry muffin" says the man
I turn around and pour the coffee and put the muffin a bag.
"Hey gorgeous, why don't you leave this dump and come with me back to my place I'll show you a good time " he says with a smile on his face revealing his yellow stained teeth.
"Do I look like I'm on the side of the street begging for old dick, no exactly so just take the damn food and leave" I say back rolling my eyes as I slide his order to him.
"Whatever bitch I didn't even want you anyways " he says as he slap down a five and leaves.
When are men going to understand that it's not okay to fucking treat women like they are objects.
Ugh that was so nasty...thinking I'd actually sleep with him. Fuck that dude and all the other dudes that make women feel uncomfortable.
