Chapter 2: Stines Family

This is short, rushed and terrible but I am out of ideas on how to write this chapter and tooooo excited for the next one! so enjoy this terrible filler till I finish the next alright? Good, anyway enjoy

"Boring" Lindsey groans as she flips through the many channels on the tv, her twin was sitting on the couch a book in hand as she carefully turned the pages

"Just pick a show" Lilith told her sister who ended up settling on some random movie that neither of them focused on, Instead Lindsey scrolled through Instagram sending her cousin Stevie funny memes or random quotes to there group chat they had, Lilith had finished her book and grabbed the next to the series as she began to read, since there parents where home the house was quiet, granted it was usually quiet even with them home, but something about your parents being out makes sitting in the Livingroom seem like the best thing next to your room.

"Hey text moxie and see if she's going to pick us up for school tomorrow" Lilith tells her sister who nods going to Moxie's chat and sending her a text, usually Moxie picked them up but last week she didn't because her car was being repaired so there moms had to bring them.

"She said she will pick us up at 7... if she can get Stevie and Zoey out of the house fast enough.. latest is 7:30" Lindsey tells her sister who nods, the silence once again taking its place, seeing as it was nearly 7pm there wasn't much for the girls to do, naturally they would explore the woods near there house, go see there cousins, anything really.

"Girls we're home!!" The mother Caroline shouts as she enters the house, Joseph following behind as he removes his jacket and hat, the girls stayed in there spots not bothering to greet them until there dad yelled

"We brought pizza" Joseph chuckles as the girls come running they where hungry and couldn't wait to eat, there parents left before lunch and the girls didn't want to cook anything so they opted to wait till dinner, so they where shore to eat there fill.

"To the kitchen and wash your hands!" Caroline tells them as they take off, her and Joseph make there way to the kitchen grabbing plates and setting them down as everyone sits and digs in

*No food talk its 1 am and I aint sneaking out for food rn-*

*At the time of continuing the writing of this chapter its 5am sooo again no food talk-*

*At the time of once again continuing this its 9pm but I'm to lazy for food talk so*

"Alright girls showers, and get ready for bed" Joseph calls to his children who where in the attic, the attic had been completely remodeled into a small library per Lilith's request, Lindsey mostly listens to her sister read or grab a comic or two while she's up there, it became there get away after school. School wasn't too bad for them, but they still faced issues like every student. The girls take turns in the shower, the settled who went first with a round of Rock, papers, scissors and Lilith won all three times much to Lindsey's dismay

"Don't take forever either!" Lindsey groans as she pulls out her phone, her cousin Stevie was responding to the memes she had sent previously and had sent her own. She walked down the hall staring at photos on the wall, when she was younger, her and Lilith playing outside. The day they finally met their new cousin Zoey a week after her aunts adopted he, she smiled she was happy with her family, she was also very protective of them

"Your turn" Lilith shouts as she go to her room, she tosses her dirty clothes in her hamper as she goes over to her large bookshelf scanning the shelf, usually she tries to read a few pages before bed, but tonight she is feeling more sluggish then usual. Her walls are a soothing lavender color covered in nature paintings or art gifts from her cousins. Her bed is in the corner near her window giving a perfect view of the night sky which she always enjoys. Instead of grabbing a book Lilith simply climbs in bed setting her alarm for 6am so she can be up and ready by the time there cousins arrive to pick them up.

Lindsey slowly walked through the halls of the dark house, she hadn't slept yet and it was already 3am, she was thirsty so went on a small mission to get water. The downside was how loud each step was she tried to be quiet but it seemed to make them louder! when she finally got to the bottom she quickly but quietly made her way to the kitchen doing a mental cheer that she managed to do that quieter then the damn stairs. 

"Shouldn't you be asleep?" Lilith whispered causing Lindsey to jump she clamped her hand to her mouth glaring angerly at her twin

"I could ask you the same!" Lindsey huffed as she watched her sister put her cup in the sink

"I needed water, oh and a popsicle" Lilith tells her as she opens the freezer handing her sister a popsicle before quietly disappearing into the darkness, the only sound is the creaking steps as she goes back upstairs.
