Destiny, this one word defines something which many people believe in and many people don't. But I surely do believe in it, and after reading this you will too.

Nayeon and Jeongyeon did not have the same friends but somehow, they ended up in one group. Destiny, right? Well. It was definitely awkward at first but they soon mingled with each other.

Nayeon knew how to deal with introverts. In fact, her own best friend, Momo, was an introvert, too. So, she knew how to bring someone out of their shell without coming off as a rude person. Jeongyeon was like a closed book and whenever she tried to peel a layer to get to know her better, there was another layer underneath it. It was like peeling an onion, the layers never seemed to end.

My friends, who had imagined that Nayeon would be able to get past those layers? But she did. She started opening up to her. She liked how she understood her better than anyone else. She liked how she listened to her without judging her. She knew that she could bare her soul in front of her and can blindly trust her.

They became best friends of each other in few days only. They used to study together in the library. Well, it was just an excuse to spend some more time with each other. 

When they studied together for the first time, she was restlessly looking at her lips, her face, her eyes, she couldn't stop staring at her. It felt like some kind of magnet was pulling her towards her. But she was confused about the sudden emergence of feelings for her. She didn't know how to approach this new feeling, she felt lost.

But do you know, how it all started? At what point they became this close? Well, it was the 16th of May, 2015, when it all started because of Nayeon crying with Jeongyeon while walking home. 

Yes, can you believe it?

They had a very long conversation about their hardships in school. After that, there was no turning back. There was a new topic every day. Jeongyeon even pranked her one day over some assignment a thing that brought them even closer. Each thing and each conversation worked like magic, Whatever the topic was, whether a serious one or about some cartoon character, it never failed to bring a smile to their faces.

Once a funny incident of a bet between them about who is the biggest fan of one cartoon made their friendship even stronger. They were talking about a cartoon casually, and Jeongyeon was in the mood of teasing her, so she told her that she is the biggest fan of that cartoon and Nayeon opposed her saying that she is the biggest fan, not her. It led to a challenge and there was only one way to resolve it. 

They decided to do a quiz about that cartoon to find out the biggest real fan. Jeongyeon got all competitive and mugged up all things about the cartoon. While she took it in a fun way.

The next day during the quiz when she lost against her, she got very upset because she had to change her bench as it was the condition for losing. In the evening, she tried to convince her that it was all joke and she doesn't need to keep sulking over a petty thing. It took some effort from her side to finally make her mood happy again but she succeeded in doing so.

And that incident brought both of them even closer to each other and they entered the phase of "Best Friends". They started sharing everything with each other, little things that they do, their secrets, their past, their personal stuff, everything. Jumping into the wilderness of the new best-friend thing. But was it just friendship or maybe it was the start of something new...
