Nayeon and Jeongyeon eagerly waited for weekends so that they can spend some quality time together. But every time they meet, they fight over the most trivial things and completely ruin each other's mood. But at the end of the day, one of them would end the fight and the other would resist for a bit but would finally give in.

But one weekend during their break time, they fought over a picture of a kid. Actually, it was because Jeongyeon had sent the picture of a cute little girl who lives in her neighborhood to Mina - her schoolmate. Nayeon was so mad that she sent those pictures to Mina but not her.

She initially thought it was not a big deal but when she saw her reaction, she knew that this should not be taken lightly. She did not know what to do. She wanted to act serious but the thought that she was jealous of Mina, made her smile. She did not know that she meant so much to her.

"I'm sorry. I forgot to send you the pictures. I didn't do it on purpose. It's just that Mina loves her pictures and I usually send her." Jeongyeon tried to light up the situation.

"l don't want your stupid sorry. I am going to class." They were standing in the parking area of the institute.

"Please don't be this way. I don't want us to fight because of her."

"Oh, Whatever! You always have excuses. I don't want to listen to you anymore." and then she turned her head in the opposite direction of her.

She tried and tried but failed miserably. She was not ready to listen to anything that comes out of his mouth. So, she did the only thing that came to her mind. She hugged her. She was shocked. She was not expecting this at all. But when she recovered from the initial stage of shock, she tried to push her but she hugged her even tighter than before.

It was their first hug, that hug was the sweetest thing she had ever received from someone.

For a moment, they both were still but after a while, she hugged her back. Oh, that moment! If it were to be a movie, I bet there would have been firecrackers by now. But it was no movie, it was real and the only firecrackers that were exploding were in each other's heart.

After they broke the hug, they both were unable to meet each other's eyes. They both were resembling a tomato from all the blushing. She was looking so cute and beautiful in that red blush that it made her blush more. 

None of them spoke a word for a while, but that silence did not bother them at all. Even that silence was sweet as it gave both of them some time to cool down and to capture the best moment of their lives with their eyes.

It was just a start, after that day whenever they both would get a chance, they would hug each other so tight that it made them forget every problem in their life. Just the mere feeling of each other's heartbeats was enough to keep them going.

That hugs, if one must describe that hugs it would be like placing one's arms around another person with a gentle squeeze to invoke feelings of warmth, compassion, and love. It felt like momentary salvation from the bitter cruelty of reality. And both, Nayeon and Jeongyeon were feeling it while hugging each other.
