You hold your hands closely to your mouth, breathing on them to keep them warm as you walk down the busy street. It has been awhile now since you have gone outside, due to the amazing corona, but ever since they found a cure for it people have gone outside, some wihtout mask and some with. You, however, where one of the people who didn't go outside because, well, you where scared.

You walk into the cafe that you use to go to all the time. You smile at the familiar smell of coffee, sighing happily thankful to yourself for going outside. You walk up the stair to the second floor of the cafe, where you take your usual seat, right next to the window. You take off your scarf and coat, setting it down on the couch next to you. You sit down, pulling out your tablet, setting it on the coffee table. You begin typing away, writing the small book that you have been working on.

"Excuse me." You hear. You look up to see a fairly good looking person. They smile kindly holding up a notebook and pen close to them.  "I'm here to take your order." You relize that you have been stairing at them and cough a bit.

"Yes, sorry! I was just- I dont believe i've seen you around here before the whole, covid thing." You laughing a bit at your own dumbness. They join in on the laugh, rubbing the back of their head. "yeah- haha- I began working her about 4 days ago." They say, while counting their fingers when they four.

"Oh, well how to you like it so far?" You ask, kindly patting at the empty seat in front of you. They look taken back a bit by this but go and sit down.

"My name is Y/N L/N" You say holding out a hand. They look at your hand, hesitant a bit before grabbing it and shaking it.

"T/N... T/N L/N."

"It's nice to meet you T/N. Now, how is it like wokring here so far?" You say pulling your hand away, and scooting up so that they know that they have your full attention.

"It's ok. I like it so far. People are all so friendly and it's a nice way to start out my life. I just graduated."

"really? what school?"

You two ended up talking for awhile, you barely ended up working on your book. You found youself entranced with them, feeling as if  you in a movie meeting the love your life.

You both laughed about how it was like being in quarentine, how you hated and loved it. How when it ended you wish you where back in it. It was nice, having a conversation with them. You never got to tell them what you wanted to drink, instead you  gave them your number. They blushed a bit when you did, laughing a bit when they fumbled with their phone in their hand, almost dropping it.

"Well, I think its about time I go finish up my to do list." You say putting your labtop back into your bag. You stand up at the same time they do, laughing a bit for no reason.

"It was so nice meeting you and I hope to talk to you again." They say thier smile not fading. You smile and wave as you walk away.

It's been 4 weeks since you meet them and you two talk non-stop on the text, call, and in person. They finally got around to getting your order and actually giving you the drink.  Turns out that you both have alot in common. They love to read while you love to write, you promise them that you would let them be the first person to read your book that your working on. You have actually been looking forward to the days when you can see them. They are so cute to you, when they smile you feel so happy, all you want to do is stare at that smile. Then there is ther laugh that just makes you melt. You told your best friend about this person and they encourage you non-stop to ask them out, saying that "they might be the one".  And that is what has led you to this day. You are going to ask them out. You look at your phone nervously, you meant to press the text button but ended up pressing the call button.
