"That's not what happened," Bokuto snorted at his answer in his notebook. "I thought you're like... The bookworm type of boys, but you got all these shits wrong, my darling,"
Akaashi groaned. "I didn't ask for your help,"
Being cautious about his answers, the highschooler lad pouted as he erased his answers before writing the correct answers, which followed by Bokuto's loud laugh. "Henry Avery did NOT do that shit in 1695,"
Tired of the teases, Akaashi had to force himself to listen to Bokuto's theories about the history of a great pirate known as Henry Avery during the 1600s era. Since Akaashi never focused on his history subject, he allows himself to let Bokuto help him with answers. It was around 8 in the evening after dinner when Akaashi went up to his room to finish his ridiculous history homework, and not to his surprise that the wounded thief got bored of watching the same youtube channels for the last couple of days and decided to bother Akaashi's work - Which, he admits, it becomes a habit for Bokuto to help.
Nobody would believe this, but this thief is surprisingly very excellent in history and math. He is also very good at solving puzzle words, Akaashi doesn't need to explain because he himself is clueless about how a man as good as Bokuto becomes a thief instead. There are so many greatnesses he can start with these basic skills. Akaashi got better at classes too, thanks for Bokuto's habit in helping unwarily during the night - Not like Akaashi is complaining. But as times fly, it irritates the emerald eyed lad about how cocky this man can be. Yes, he is 19. And yes, he has murdered and stole precious items almost all around the world. And definitely a yes, he is mentally a 9 year old kid inside. He complains, surprisingly a lot. He gets hungry all the time, and let's not forget about how sometimes he gets horny at inappropriate times.
The poor emerald eyed lad grimaced by the memory of one time he walked into Bokuto masturbating to a cheap porn video from his laptop that he granted the access to use, but sadly used them in a wrong way. Akaashi hit him with piles of books, and literally threatened the thief with a bread knife (he owns it in his room when he wants a late night snack) to not ever pull his pants down except if he needs to wee in the bathroom. Bokuto laughed at his reaction but respected his order, amused by the frustration in his face when he witnessed a terrible and unlikely scene right in front of his eyes. It was a torture for Akaashi and he never tolerates that type of gestures, especially when the thief is living under his roof.
He moved to another number once he finished with his incorrect answers and Bokuto was quick to point out his wrongs. "It's called The Gunsway Heist, honey,"
"Gods, please, shut up. And stop calling me that," Akaashi shut his eyes in annoyance.
"You coulda just thank me instead of complaining to gods. Wow, Aghashi, that's really rude," Bokuto took another bite of the sliced pineapples. "And after Avery left the Royal Navy, he sought for more riches. That history is called The Gunsway Heist,"
"Now, Bokuto-san, I wonder...," the emerald eyed lad glared at the thief beside him. "If you know so much, have you found the whole hidden treasure that Henry Avery hid then? Since you're a thief to begin with,"
"No," he shook his head, and wasn't even bothered one bit. "I wasn't there,"
"What do you mean you weren't there?" Akaashi raised an eyebrow at him.
"My best pals found them without me. I was busy with another adventure," Bokuto thought for a second. "I think I was in dangerous debts and was trying to find this Spaniard treasure in Brunei or something. I had goons in the back of my neck, I need to save myself,"
In his deepest heart, Akaashi is impressed. However, he didn't try to move a single muscle on his face to say so. It would have seemed like Bokuto deserved it, since he had a debt and needed to pay it back. Whatever Spaniard treasure he found, Akaashi could only exhale a breath of relief to find this boy still alive. If he's 19 years old now, then he assumes he was at an illegal age to do so. Because of that, Bokuto had goons behind his neck which become an easy target for so many people. Unrealistic action movies make good logic too, Akaashi just assumed that was how it happened. And he wanted to badly praise this thief to make it sound like he was being humble about his so-called-achievements. He didn't sound like he was bragging about it at all, which is a bit chilling for him.
