Arturo

I wanted revenge on Russians and I knew I was going to get it. They messed with my family and were going to get what's coming to them. But that isn't what I was after now, Rome was who I had to find. It'd been a whole week since Madeline and James' house was attacked and they were killed, but Rome was nowhere to be found. They knew what they were doing. I feel remorse for my sister's death but not all the way because she brought this upon herself, I warned her about James, I told her he wasn't a good guy. Heck, I lectured her about the good evils, bad evils and evil evils, but she said she was in LOVE which made everyone step back and just support her. Apparently, in the Giovanni family, anyone in love had a beautiful thing in their life and no one was to interfere in that person's happiness..... Very stupid, I know, but it was Mama and Papa's rule. Because this so called love rule is what blinded Madeline from James' bullshit and cunning character.

I knew he was an asshole from the minute I met him, had dealings where he wasn't supposed to. Unfortunately, he was too greedy for money and power and the fool made a deal with the Russian mafia, people he knew were our arch enemies since day one, but the fool didn't keep up with his own end of the bargain and got himself and my sister killed.

With my hands folded beneath my chin and my elbows rested on my table, I began to think of ways I would find Rome before the Russians did. I had my men search every inch of their property for her, they haven't found her yet. The sound of a frantic knock came from my office door, knowing it was Sarah, my annoying as hell assistant who likes to behave as if she's my mother, she has always been Mama's good friend since they were in diapers and so she has always felt responsible for me.

"What the actual fuck!!??" She barges inside with a stern look on her face and her hands akimbo. "Watch that tongue of yours, if you don't want me to cut it out and staple it to my wall of artifacts, cause trust me, it'll be my master piece." "Well thank you for that vivid image Sarah, what do you need from me, it's too early to be nagged by you, don't you think?" I wore a smirk on my face, which I knew annoyed the hell out of her. "Wipe that smug look off your face Tutu, there's information on Rome's whereabouts." I have always hated that nickname she gave me, but that statement got my full attention "What did you find out?" She took a seat "She was seen at a coffee shop with a lady."

She slides a picture to me and I pick it up and look at it, a huge mass of ginger hair catches my attention, the lady's eyes aren't clear in the picture but Rome is sitting in a booth with her and she's feeding her some scones and ice-cream. I got so lost in the picture, staring at her, I wanted to see her in person, to know why I'm so mesmerized by her without even seeing her fully well, she could be working for the Russians for all I know but there was something about her. I was relieved to find out Rome was okay. "When was this picture taken?" "An hour ago, she's being followed as we speak." "Good, I want every information you can get on her. She might be with them."

She stands up to leave "On a second thought, give me her location right now." "Are you thinking of going there yourself, it's dangerous Arturo." She whined in concern. "Don't you trust me Sarah?" I asked with a playful smirk on my lips. "Now is not the time for you to be careless, you don't know how this lady is, where she's from, who she's with or what her mission is. Don't do anything stupid." What she said made sense, but it was the Russians we were talking about here, they had no patience or mercy. So why keep Rome with someone like her, I look down at the picture in my hands.

As I look up, I see Sarah, waiting for my order. "Get the men, bring Rome home and bring me this girl, I want answers." At that, she leaves and I sit in patience, waiting for my men to bring this mysterious woman to me. In the meantime, I did a lot of paperwork and had meetings in my office,  just busied myself with work so that I won't think too much about what is happening. Suddenly, my office door was opened with full force that made me reach for my gun which was locked and loaded and ready to send the intruder to his or her maker. Only, for me to see that it was my best friend a.k.a. Sarah's son and the most annoying person I know. With a gruff sigh of relief, I sat down and sheathed my gun in its holster. "Art my love, did you miss me?" He said with a French accent and an annoying smile on his face. "One more word from you and I'll actually bring the gun back out and make a mosaic of your innards. This is not the time for jokes Carlo." "Eew.. Mum's rubbing off on you, speaking of Mum, where is she?"

He made his way to the edge of my desk and sat there. "She's running errands for me. Apparently, Rome has been found, so she's on it. How was the deal with the French mafia?" "It was a success, are the Russians behind her disappearance?" "I'm yet to find out." I give him the updates on the matter. "Is that our suspected kidnapper of Rome?" He asks, taking a look at the picture that is on my table. "Yes." "She's a beaut." "Shut up, Carlo." At that moment, my phone vibrates, taking a look at the caller ID, it's Sarah. They've found her. "Capone." "We've found Rome and the woman. Rome is at home, while she's in the basement. We did a background check and she's sparkling clean, I'll fax you the info now." "It doesn't mean anything if her background check is clean, I want to interrogate her myself." "Whatever you say, Capo."

"Let's go Carlos, I need answers"
