(A/N: Hello everybody here's another chapter after a long time of procastinating. There's also a little profanity in this chapter and a character in most fanfics you probably don't like-. Sorry for me ranting and let's get on with the chapter!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lucy's POV
      When I looked up I didn't see Natsu. I saw a short white haired girl. She looked like Mira, but with just short hair. She had her hands on her hips and glared at me.
      "I'm sorry, were you talking to me," I asked because I heard her say something.
      "Were you not listening to me you bimbo?" she asked me, glaring even more.
      "Well I mean one, you don't know my name, two, you could have been talking to someone else, and three, you could have easily tapped my shoulder to get my attention," I said as I was getting up only to be pushed down on the floor. By books beside me fell as well.
      "Don't try to act smart with me you bitch," she said this time making me flinch at what she called me. She then grabbed my hair and whispered harshly in my ear.
      "Stay away from Natsu, or else I will destroy everything precious to you," she said and then let go of my hair while throwing me to the ground. She kicked me in the stomach two times before walking away.
      Being as weak as I really am, I struggled to get up. First day and I thought everything would go well. I couldn't help myself up because of the pain shooting through my stomach. I decided to just sit on the floor when there's a good bench to sit on right beside me. I grabbed my books and organized them again. I then felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Natsu grinning at me.
      "How are you Luce?" he asked me as let go of my shoulder and held his hand in front of me to help me stand. Or at least try to. I took his hand but immediately felt pain in my stomach which made me quickly go back down.
      "Are you ok?" Natsu asked me bending down. I looked at his face and it was full of concern. Then my conversation I had with that short white haired girl ran through my head.
      "Yes, I'm fine," I said as I struggled to get up on my own. Next thing I know Natsu grabbed my books and put it in my backpack then swung it over his shoulder. Now it was my turn. He picked me up bridal style and started walking.
      "H-hey! I said I was f-fine!" I said blushing a bit.
      "I'm not that stupid Lucy, I can see when your obviously hurt," he replied back giving me a stern look. I was too tired to say anything else so I let him carry me.
      "But your really heavy Luce, what the heck did you eat today?" Natsu said as he was whining about how heavy I was. I grew a tick mark.
      "Seriously, you need to go on a diet," once he said that I struggled even more to get out of his arms. We ended up falling on top of each other. I sat on the ground again and scowled looking away.
      "If I was heavy, I said you didn't have to carry me," I said steam coming out of my ears. I heard a chuckle from him. Natsu got up and lent his hand again to help me up. As I was about to take it I heard a scream.
      Natsu and I both got startled by it and looked around. As we looked to our right I saw the short white haired girl that I talked to earlier. She stomped over to us and slapped me. I was shocked that I was slapped. But then again to be fair she did say stay away from Natsu and I didn't do that.
      "I told you to stay away from him!" she said. She was about to slap me again, but she didn't. I had my eyes close waiting for the impact. I opened my eyes to see a now very angry Natsu holding the girl's wrist.
      "And I'm about to tell you to stay away from my Lucy," he said giving the short white haired girl a deathly stare.
      "But babeee, she's trying to get in between our relationship," she said as she was about to put her arms around Natsu's neck. He smacked her arms around.
      "One, I'm not your boyfriend and never will be. Two, don't go anywhere near Lucy. Three, if I ever hear you doing something bad to Lucy I'll make sure to make your life a living hell," Natsu said sternly and very scary that it even scared me.
      As I watched the scene unfold in front of me Natsu picked me up where I can stand now and started walking out of the school gates. He turned around to look at the short white haired girl again who had anger in her.
      "This is a warning Lisanna. Stay away from us," he hissed at her before dragging me to follow him.
      I no longer had that pain in my stomach anymore and I could walk properly now. My right cheek though, stinged a little. When I realized I didn't know where Natsu was taking me I panicked.
      "W-wait w-where are w-we going?" I asked. Natsu was walking the total opposite direction of where my apartment was.
      "I'm taking you to my house," he said as he looked back at me and smiled.
      "What for?" I asked. I don't even know if he still lives with his family or lives alone.
      "To take care of that wound you have," he said as he stroked my right cheek with his free hand. I flinched at the sudden skin contact. He took his hand away and continued walking forward.
      "Plus we have more catching up to do," he said as he now slipped his hand that was grabbing my wrist and intertwining it with mine.
      We started walking towards Natsu's house hand in hand. It felt really comforting to hold someone's hand. Natsu's hand felt very warm. I liked the feeling of his holding his hand.
      First day of school, met Natsu again, met new friends, and even met an enemy. That's part of a normal school life right?
      (A/N: This was kind of a short chapter. I was hoping for it to be longer but guess not. FYI though Lisanna will have character development in this story. She won't be bitchy anymore at the end of the story. Anyways thanks for reading my book this far and I'll see you in next chapter!)
