As he pulled away, everyone seemed satisfied that Wilbur wasn't going to kill them to turn around again. He felt less alone, and got up to go over to Bad and Skeppy.

"This is my fault, please let me help." Bad looked at him for a second then nodded.

"Thank you. I know I can trust you, I can just tell." Skeppy looked back and forth between them, confused and then appeared to be thinking very hard.

"Trust . . . trust to the . . . the end of . . . of, uh . . ." He was thinking really hard and then he spotted Bad's Muffin sitting on a plate nearby and looked up. "Muffin! To the end of the muffin! I've heard that before . . . where?" Bad was overjoyed and hugged Skeppy.

"Me! I said that! Oh, Skeppy, I think you're remembering things! Slowly, but surely." Skeppy smiled, then thought again, trying to remember more.

"Wait, Bad," Wilbur said slowly, thinking about what just happened. "Skeppy remembered when we talked about trust, right? Why don't we just tell him about the past and see if he remembers?" Bad looked at him with delight.

"Yes! Everyone!" Bad called out, getting even the ghosts attention. "Come here, me and Wilbur just found out how to help Skeppy get back his memory! We need to talk about the past and all the things that happened, and see if he remembers anything! STORYTIME!!!"

About an hour later, Skeppy was laughing with the rest of them over the stories they had been telling. Then he screwed up his face and thought for a second, making everyone go silent in hope. He looked around at all of them, but then looked at Bad.

"Where's . . . A6 . . . D? He . . . he was in something with us? A group . . . a squad?" Bad paled. Skeppy hadn't remembered their feud, or him and A6D hating each other. Perhaps that was for the better. He would only remember happy things about A6D that way.

"The Muffin Squad. A6D . . . he wasn't here for the war, Skeppy. He's in France. He can't come back yet, since it's not safe. We won't be able to see him for a while." Everyone looked shocked, and Wilbur suddenly remembered a grave he couldn't read from the window. He walked over and looked closer, and could barely make out the inscription. "Vincent, A6D: "Tu me manques, équipe de muffins." Wilbur didn't know french, but he knew that Badboyhalo had lied. But when he looked back at them he saw how fragile Skeppy was and that Bad's eyes were filled with love, and Wilbur knew he was protecting him. He was just happy to be with his friends again. And even with all that he had done and regretted, he was happy they were together. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw A6D. A6D looked at him and nodded, showing that he forgave his friend. Despite so many being hurt, there was always a silver lining.
