Zombies(Got7 Ft.StrayKids)

It was about 3:00p.m when I heard a siren go off. I recognized it as the one used for really bad emergencies.

"Honey!" mom yelled.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Come down quick!" my mom yelled.

Her voice sounded like she was worried, so I ran downstairs. I saw on the tv that the news is on and it seemed important. It said "Breaking News, many people have been spotting zombies in large groups. A science lab put out a statement saying that there was a malfunction with the system and had put out containment gas infecting people who breathed it in."

They advise you to evacuate quickly and if you can't lock and barricade all the doors and windows in your house.

"Mom what's happening?" I asked.

She didn't answer; she ran to a drawer and grabbed a key. She then ran across the room to a desk that had a lock. She took out a gun and a knife.

"Mom, what's this for?" I asked worried.

"Honey, take this with you. It will protect you from the zombies...Run away without me. I'll distract the zombies so you can get away." my mom said.

Tears started falling from both of our eyes.

"Mom, I can't go without you." I said crying

My mom wiped the tears from my eyes.

"Shh..don't cry. I'm doing this for you. If I don't survive...Just keep this to remember me."

She handed me a necklace. It had an opening. I opened it. It was a picture when I was younger with her hands around me. I started crying again.

"Jaebum, leave without me. Just make a promise. That you'll always remember me or think of me when you are going through hard times."

"Mom-"

I got interrupted by banging on the door.

"Go Jaebum, quickly." Mom said

I nodded my head and started running out the back door.
