Once in a while..

Chapter 6: Who Am I?

Jimin freezes as he hears Yoongi's voice near, seeing him from the spot he's hiding at. "Are you sure he isn't here?" Jimin hears Yoongi say, closing his eyes tightly and prays to God he won't find him.

"I'm sure Yoongi. Now leave please." Jungkook gets in front of Jimin, crossing his arms and raises one eyebrow as he looks at Yoongi. "You know you'll get in trouble if he's here." "Yes, I know. You don't have to tell me that."

Jimin carefully moves a bit, trying to not make any sound as he peeks a bit around Jungkook from his hiding spot, looking directly into Yoongi's eyes and just knows he messed up, quickly getting back again and backs up slightly.

"Jimin, don't try to hide. I saw you, and you know it." Yoongi looks behind Jungkook, sighing a bit and walks towards him. He smiles as he looks at Jimin, shaking his head a bit.

"Please don't do anything to me." Jimin looks at Yoongi, a slight scared look on his face.

"Why would I? Just make sure Taehyung or Namjoon doesn't find out, and you're good." Yoongi says, a kind, soft look resting on his face.

"Why them?" Jimin frowns a bit, slowly getting up from his hiding spot and looks at the flower, seeing it light up a bit.

"They don't trust you enough yet. Everyone else does, just the two of them don't. And we can't do anything about it, since Taehyung is the strongest of us all, and Namjoon is the leader." Yoongi takes a few steps back, giving Jimin some room to come out of his spot. He then looks at Jungkook, sharing looks. "We're all trying to convince them you're not any bad, but they want to see first."

Jimin listens as Yoongi talks, looking at the flower as it gives some certain gloom. Like it's sensing his feelings. Jimin frowns a bit, then shakes his head a bit and turns to Jungkook and Yoongi, smiling a bit. "I guess I have to show them then?"

"That's the problem. They don't want you to show yourself. But... more in the way they want it. Which isn't nice, I can already tell you that." Jungkook looks a little concerned at Jimin, thinking about what they talked about before he left to wait for him at the library. "We'll keep trying though."

Jimin nods, letting go of his breath and starts walking towards the exit, yawning a bit. "Let's just hope for the best it won't happen."

Jimin sits up, looking around him and tries figuring out how the frikety frick he got into the woods. He eventually gets up, looking for his phone but can't find it, sighing and looks up, seeing the moon. He frowns a bit, noticing it's different than usual. It has this... blue-ish glow around it. Jimin looks a bit longer at it before looking around again, seeing something glow and starts walking towards it. As he gets there, he sees the same flower from earlier, but this one looked like it was brighter. Jimin reaches out his hand, noticing something's different and sees a lake nearby, walking to it and looks down. His eyes widen a bit as he sees a boy, bright blue eyes, his hair going from blonde to a soft blue. He then quickly turns around, hearing some twigs snap and sees a few bright red eyes, taking a step back. "D-don't hurt me-" he says, screaming as he sees several figures getting quickly to him, falling backwards in the lake.

"NO!" Jimin opens his eyes, staring at the ceiling and breathes pretty quickly. It takes him a few seconds to realise what happened, sighing after and closes his eyes, looking to his side after. "Please don't tell me I woke you up."

"You did. But that's okay. Don't worry." Taehyung smiles a bit, moving on his side so his body is turned to Jimin. "What were you dreaming about?" Jimin frowns a bit, looking back at the ceiling and strangely enough remembers everything that happened. "You want to know all that happened?"

"Yes. Maybe I can help and try figure out why you had it." Jimin sighs again, closing his eyes and rubs his face with his hands. "I was in the woods. Or, well, I woke up there and I was all alone. So, I got up and started walking around a bit, then saw something glowing so I walked to that. It was this... flower, then I heard something behind me and then woke up." Jimin looks at the backyard as he turns his face to Taehyung, looking at him when he's finished. "It looked like some sort of prediction to me. What if it'll actually happen?" Taehyung cups Jimin's face softly, smiling a bit at him and gently runs his thumb over Jimin's cheekbone. "It won't happen. And if it will, I'll protect you."

Jimin softly nods, turning around to the door as he hears it open, seeing Seokjin walking in. "Jimin, can we talk for a bit? Just the two of us." Seokjin looks at Taehyung as he speaks, looking at Jimin after and smiles. He's looking tired as he smiles, like he didn't sleep for a few days. "There's something I have to tell you. Or, more like I have to talk with you about."

"Uh, sure." Jimin frowns a bit, giving a quick look at Taehyung who nods, getting up after and walks with Seokjin. Thinking about all possible things he would want to talk about, they come to a stop. "Jimin. Jimin, look at me." And so he does. There's a confused look on his face as he looks up at Seokjin, his frown deeper than before.

"They showed you, didn't they?" Silence. "The flower. They showed you the flower, right?" A hesitant nod. "Did you find it on your own?" Another nod. "Tell me what happened." Jimin's eyelashes flutter a bit, closing his eyes eventually and takes a breath. One more breath. Then softly talks. "It was glowing. I could see it from the front. And I don't know why, but when I got closer to it and reached out my hand it... it got brighter." Seokjin hums low, frowning a bit. "So you're saying that it felt your presence?" Another nod. "Hm. Strange."

They talk for a bit longer, and after they're done Jimin heads back to Taehyung's room, finding him sitting on the edge of the bed, looking out of the window. "Taehyung-ah?" He turns around as he hears Jimin, smiling faintly at him. "Hey." "Get ready. They want to go somewhere with everyone."

And so they do. Seokjin decided to go for a walk in the woods, to Jimin's surprise. Simply because he thought there wouldn't be woods here. Anyways, he was enjoying the walk. Until he had to talk. "So Jimin, what exactly happened when you saw the flower?" Jimin looks at Namjoon as he talks, looking in front of him again and frowns a bit, thinking. "It.. lit up. It was really weird. And when I reached out my hand it lit up more. Like it could feel my presence." "Did you actually touch it?" "No..." Jimin lightly shakes his head a bit, looking at Namjoon again and looks a bit confused. "Why you ask?" "Well, we don't know if you figured out yet, but we have a feeling there's a reason you're here now."
