My 'ordinary' life: a child reader fanfic based off of the SCP foundation

Chapter 2 A New Home

A/N: lol I came up with this so late, anyway I hope you all enjoy DISCLAIMER: I do not own the SCP foundation or the scp's in this book (except a few oc's).

Y/N POV

All I see is black. I look around and start to see something. There is a light, As I walk toward the light I notice that there is no ground. I still go towards the light. I start to see figures in the light not just any figures, my parents are there looking at something, I walk towards it. Then black again.

"She's starting to wake up!"          "Bring in Dr. Bright!"     

I slowly open my eyes to find two people look below me one is the man from before, with the necklace which has a red center. The other is a man who looks like he is wearing a lab coat with doctor clothes. "Hello child what is your name?" The man with the doctors clothes asks. "Y-Y/N" I say even though he is wearing a mask I can still see that he is smiling. "Excellent, My name is Dr.[REDACTED] he pints to the man next to him, and this is Dr. Bright." He says as the man next to his waves at me with a big smile "Hello Y/N I'm Doctor Bright! I'll be taking care of you from now on!" My the man says says. The man says, I look up at the man who is my new guardian. "Can you tell us where are your parents?"

 Flashes of what happened last night sprang up in my mind. My eyes swell up with tears remembering what happened the night before. Both of the men flinch at my sudden outburst. "T-They died, Someone broke into our house and tried to hurt me and my parents. They killed my daddy and I think they killed my mommy." They look at each other worried and angry both at once. 'Did I do something wrong?' I think to myself trying to remember if I did anything to annoy them. "Hey kid" Dr. Bright says "Don't worry no one can hurt you here, your safe here." He says comfortingly. "C'mon I'll show you around the facility!" He holds his hand out to me for me to grab. Slowly I take his and and he yanks me out of the bed and practically drags me out of the room. Soon later after a lot of walking we both are in from of a door that says

SCP-999 

Object Class: Safe

"C'mon this SCP will make you feel a whole lot better about everything" He says as he opens the door to the cell. Inside is what seems to be a slimy orange blob with candy surrounding it. It quickly turned towards us and started to move quickly towards me and hug me. All of my sad feelings go away when he begins to tickle me, Soon later I begin to laugh. "That's so nice, 999 always knows who needs it the most" Dr. Bright says. I look up to him and give him a huge smile thanking him for making me feel better. "Y/N I need to go to my office to do some work, Do you want to stay here or come with me?" He asks turning to the door. I think for a few moments "I'll stay here with 999!" I say. He opens the door "Good if you need anything just call one of the guards or scientists. Everyone is already informed that you are here." He says as he walks out and the door shuts. "*gurgle* I look to see that 999 is trying to give me a piece of candy as he holds out a lollipop. I take it from his 'hands' and begin licking it. "Thank you!" I say He gurgles and I finally feel at home again.

I spoke too soon... The lights go out and the loud speaker in the room beings to say:

WE ARE EXPERIENCEING MULTIPLE KETER AND ECUCLID CONTAINMENT BREACHES EMPLOYIES PLEASE FIND A SAFE LOC-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!  The rest is loud inhumane screaming. The loudspeaker goes into a fritz and then shuts off. I look at 999 who seems to be just as afraid as me.

How are we gonna make it out?

A/N: The next chapter will be a 'duck' ( I tried to make up the best bird pun I could srry lol) And with a mix of acting...Guess those SCP's. Word count 748 words.
